Way to generalize a game. Fallen Order is just jump, jump, jump, wall-run, jump, jump, jump, fight.
At least in JFO the masochism is optional, as you can set your own preferred difficulty level.
They'd probably have multiplayer PvP, COOP and a character creator but less dialogue and cut-scenes.
Out of all the souls-likes in the last few years, this one at least doesn't try to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ by shoehorning bits and pieces from those games and understands that the sum of these mechanics is what makes those game masterpieces.
Good gob Respawn on doing a 1/1 copy of the core combat and progression mechanics instead of half assing it and good job taking proper lessons from the masters at FromSoft.
Sekiro’s swordplay and posture system would probably work well with lightsaber combat.
I would actually be interested to see how they would incorporate force powers.
Pretty good argument and it's the first comment no less. I know a lot of gamers love to diminish those who aren't a fan of nightmare difficulties and Dark Souls, but it's just true that those things aren't for everyone. And it's OK too. JFO having four difficulties, each tailored for a type of gamer, is just perfect. Each person gets to enjoy the game at their own pace and you're not losing anything from the difficulties you're not playing at being available. Let's let people have fun without being ridiculed for once. That'd be as refreshing as EA releasing a good single player experience for once.
