Is there crossplay with the Switch version?

I own the Switch version, and I have a friend who wants the game and I was wondering if the PC port players could do online Co-op with Switch players, or i'm going to half to buy a second copy for PC to play with them.

(They do not own a Nintendo Switch, so that option is out)
