Hey guys, I put together the fishing pole and did everything to be done. The cat is laying in a weird spot by the skeleton and there's nothing else to be interacted with. Any hints?

This game has left me confused, with a whole bunch of non-obvious things. It's just random "apply object to thing" until progress happens. :/ For example, how am I supposed to know that pouring water in the hole results in a mouse or even that I need that to progress?...
