Been waiting for a update for ATE and havent seen much activity. I understand that mod making isn't easy but even without adding new content why can they not make the mod compatible with newest version

I never understood why people ask in steam forums about a mod community. Brother, do your homework, join their Discord and ask yourself. Absolute insanity

Well, there is a section in this forum here called "Workshop discussions". I agree that the mod community's Discord would be the best place to turn to, but you could ask on Steam too - under the right category.

The fact that most developers cba to keep up with steam forums and have Discords because it's way easier to manage and overlook speaks for itself, come on brother

Seems like this kind of thing has started popping up a lot more within the last 10 years. Unfortunately it's not possible to "inform" everyone not to do this kind of thing. Discord has been around for awhile now, technically they should know better if they're at all serious about modding games. It's a strange lack of self-awareness to think everyone knows what you're talking about when you mention some obscure mod in the "wrong place".

Not that it really bothers me, though. It's just weird. The solution should be obvious, but it's seemingly not. It's not against the rules, but having to repeat something so often will annoy people, that's just the way it is.

That's the thing.

If I stop on the side of the road, pop some poor guy's hood, and can tell with a quick look at the slow crank and dim lights that his alternator quit working do I HAVE to have an alternator in my trunk to 'help'?

Can't I just say "Buddy, your alternator is shot. HERE's how you call a tow truck?"

When did helping become a choice of Taking him to Autozone, buying the part myself, installing it and waving as he drives away OR stepping on the gas and watching the flashers fade into the distance?

Not everyone is some young kid with 'ALL the answers' and their head buried in an iPhone as they wander about.

Had some poor idiot try to explain to me the finer points of the jumpers I pulled out of MY OWN TRUNK in a parking lot the other day because he "Saw this on a YT video."

Took EVERYTHING i had to not just put them back into the trunk and drive off - or touch them to him a couple times and say "Silly me. I guess I didn't see that YT short." =)

Man I really liked the mod, sucks that nobody know. I hope a new team picks it up and continues to update date the game :(

Its being updated, they're dropping teasers for the new update on their discord/reddit

Just so everyone is aware, the mod isnt dead they just updated it. I know none of you knew if they were continuing to mod or not
