Can't assign Guardian!

For some reason I can't assign guardians to my children, even if the child is in my court it says that the option is no longer available. Is this a bug from the recent update? Does somebody else have the same problem?

Me neither. It is seriously ruining my courtiers.
Maybe the Cathedral Schools building is messing up. Teacher, leave us kids alone. 0o

Known bug that creeps up from time to time with this new version. Just save, exit to main menu and reload seems to fix it temporarily until Paradox puts out a more extensive patch.

I have the same issue, but its inconsistent as ♥♥♥♥. Assign a guardian to my daughters or some random courtier? sure no problem. How about my heir and his brother? nah sry mate cant do that thats illegal.

Yep, same problem here.

Before the patch, my Byzantine heir was one of my 5 daughters, but since PDX also massively increased the penalty for women under "male preference" succession I REALLY need to educate one of my grandsons fast!

*Edit* Saving and reloading seems to have helped, for now.

Yup this also worked for me as well. Just had to bump out to the main menu when I was having this issue.
