I am an unlanded COURTIER, what are my optons ?

So, I thought it would be a good idea to turn on sourge of the gods conquerors
Anyway at some point my liege started getting threatened by 380 000 (!!!!) peasants armies and giving up to them.
So I lost all my title (multiple kingdoms) despite agreeing to convert to their culture and religion at the moment of uprising, and I became basically an unlanded peasant, I didn't even know it was possible.
I married some french duke's daughter and I am now an unlanded courtier (wtf !!!)

What am I supposed to do now ? I don't seem to have any option to become an adventurer.

At least I'm a marshal so that's something.
edit: Wait never mind I just got fired.
So I'm just a random courtier now
Hate to break it to you but your game is apparently bugged. Becoming a coutier is not possible. What should have happened is you become an unlanded adventurer if you have the proper DLC for that. However since they introduced that mechanic i've never had it work properly and I'm a little discouraged to hear that it still doesn't always work after the realm maintenance patch.

I figured that was probably a bug, it's the first time I've ever had this happen though.
Funnily enough, it didn't seem to break the game, things seemed to be working relatively normaly,
Aside from 1 or 2 placeholder error messages as to why I could perform certain actions.
....and the fact I could do basically nothing

And yeah apparently the mechanics around adventuring clearly need some more polish, it's pretty disapointing, I would have liked for this guy to become and adventurer instead of a soft gameover.
Get divine intervention mod in workshop and use it to make him landless adventurer.
Are you in line to inherit anything? You may be able to murder your way back to a game.

When in doubt, stab it out. :sipofenergy:

Couldn't lauch murder schemes, the option was greyed out with a placeholder error text.

Anyway, when reloading the game the game took me to character selection in that same world.

Yeah that’s typically what’s happened to me except I play iron man so you reload to a game over. So I basically avoid getting deposed at all costs…but it’s not always possible when you are the target of a crusade when you’re just getting established. Anyway hopefully with the announcement this morning they actually fix it if becoming an adventurer is going to be base game now.

This is almost certainly a bug, being a courtier is not normally possible and as far as I know you should always get the option to become adventurer (if you have the Roads to power dlc) or transfer over to another titled character in your dynasty (if there's any)
But yeah, playing as a vassal or in a religiously contested area (or both) is definitely pretty risky if you don't have the option to go adventuring.
