House Guard regiments after successions?

I'm not complaining but somehow I ended up with 3 house guard regiments 14/14 each with no maintanence costs....kinda broken...

Yeah, it's normal. If you had a regiment of house guards and your successor has a regiment of house guards, you'll get 2 regiments of them IF you're not at your max MMA regiments due to inheriting the old regiment while the heir keeps theirs (IF they keep it of course).

It can also happen with the single regiment only Khans of the Steppe DLC Kheshig heavy horse archers but of course, those aren't free (they're very expensive in fact, but they're powerful too).
