Pixel art is my favourite art style. I don't know why, but I'm just a sucker for a pixelated game or art.

I love pixel art, but one problem its had recently is alot of people using it in a very lazy way with their "8-bit" retro games instead of using pixel art to elevate the visuals.

Looks fantastic so far! My favorite 2D game(s) were the Metal Slug series. Some of the best work in the genre and something to aspire to.

Exactly what I think when thinking about modern pixel-art games : Using pixel-art and emulating the retro look of 16bit games does not mean we should not try to improve and make innovating technical contributions to the art. Keep on like this ! ^^

Pixel art is pixel art, whatever the resolution. Owlboy certainly looks exquisite, but calling it "hi-bit" is just pretentious and makes me cringe. We all understand it's a marketing buzzword, nothing more.

Hi-Bit, this sounds great. I've been looking for pretty pixel-based games, and now I've got a nice term to specify it.
