How do you farm Cobalt Flux?

Does anyone know the fastest and best way to farm flux?

Kill stuff in nuke zones and collect hardened masses, glowing masses, high intensity radiation fluids.

Once you have that, go pick the right plants in nuke zones and then refine them down in the chem bench.

It's a long process but doable. The more you will learn how to, the "easier" it will be.

1st, you need componants : Glowing Masses, Hardened Masses and High Radioactive Fluids.

2nd, you need Raw Flora with the Green Thumb perk card equiped.

3rd, with the Super Duper perk card equiped, you craft them at a chemistry workbench.

Each time you log in and see nuke zones on your map, go there and harvest some componants. High Radioactive Fluids is the rarest.

When you have enough (like 6 of each), harvest your raw flora (need 60 for this example) then go to a chemistry workbench.

May want to check Fallout 76 wiki page for Flux, too for usefull tips.

one of the better places to farm it is in the nuke zone when Monongah mine has been nuked. Try to have the perk card equipped that gives more resources when harvesting.

Yes when earl gets nuked.
Cobalt in that area.
Green thumb perk card for getting more flowers.
Super duper perk card for crafting extra amounts.
Good with salt perk card for keeping the flowers from rotting to quick,,,
Not sure if Ammo perk card helps when crafting???
Try not to miss any nuke zone for awhile.
Kill, Pick, craft at chemistry station...

For flora use green thumb and nuke morgantown. Razorgrain, muttfruit, silt beans, and razorgrain all give cobalt and lots of it there. Bank up 50 fluids and masses to use it all.

Morgantown is a great place to nuke. Get from the bus stop/red rocket by the school all the way down, being sure to get that farm south of town.

Lots of mob spawns, and then lots of plants to pick. Just slot green thumb before picking.

Yes buying from player vendors is the easiest route to flux.

I haven't set a nuke off yet but I just recently finished the enclave so I can nuke and complete my secret service jetpack with violet/colbat flux.. There is a cobalt flux map that is pretty accurate online so don't even bother trying to farm at cranberry bog since that's a nuke hot spot for other fluxes but not cobalt.

Cobalt flux has been a nightmare for me to collect cause every server I am on there are only nukes launched at the wrong section of ash heap and cranberry bog has literally no cobalt flux, So your gonna have to rely on setting ur own nuke but remember that the flux spoils like vegetables so if u don't have the other components first you lose it quickly and you can't refrigerate it like food.

I haven't had luck with Scorch beast event rewards since I've gotten only 1 stable colbat flux the events I've done all week and I have tried to visit player vendors that had junk listed but stable colbat flux is something I can't find easily.

Well when Earl is nuked.
There is a fair amount of cobalt.
BUT yes it spoils...
Use "green thumb" perk card.
Use "good with salt" perk card. (3 star)
This allows you to run for 2 hours without worry of it spoiling...

The easiest way is to hunt the bosses, will take some time though relying on random drops, every server gives you three shots at getting some, the bosses are easily dealt with(unsure if different bosses drop different fluxes I just hunt the bat when I want some as my carnivore also likes to eat them, good stat boosts from their meats) Once all three are spent on the server, hop to the bunker and server hop until you find one with active nukes and repeat.

Collecting the stuff one needs to craft it is by far the more tedious way to go(as you're just walking around picking the flowers), but at least it's guaranteed to be there.
