1. Bloodied Power Armor - you get yourself some heavy guns that have no spin-up animation, i prefer mg42, 50cal and Plasma Caster for insane Vats crits.
2. PA and explosives. Stabilised works with explosive heavy guns too. so get yourself two shot Broadsider, Auto Grenade launcher and rocket launcher - and have fun.
Broadsider is crazy when on low Hp, you can use it in a single Daily ops, then sell cannonballs in ammo exchanger to get yourself rockets for a couple of days. Carnivore lets you have 33 luck in PA a the time - you just have to find 2 extra luck from armor, perks and whatnot.
3. Full HP Melee (carnivore only) - just cook yourself some glowing dogies or bay tasty yaoguai ribs from vendor and youre ready to shred things. Melee works a bit worse in PA because it slows you down a little.
Yep, that has been my experience. I die far less than when i was full hp because of the focus on damage mitigation and survival perks. Serendipity perk is totally busted it is so good at keeping you alive.
I also have a 2nd set of SS armour with 5/5 OE and 3/5 sentinels and using all DR/ER perks and survival perks i can be as tanky as PA but in regular armour which is a lot of fun. Losing UNY hurts though for Xp, Vats accuracy and total AP and sneak etc though so much that it is far better to just stay with my full UNY armour set.
In solo, I do totally fine.
During events, you guys carry me.
During dailies, the same and I stimpak you when you die.
So it's win-win from my perspective.
Playing full health puts you in the action and that is far more enjoyable to me. That was the decision to shelf the unyielding armour.
I can run ore, I can collect Gulper venom, I can repair rad scrubbers, I can take a hit from mobs without relying on luck (serendipity perk), I can stay mobile and not bug out melee mobs helping events run more smoothly, etc.
Basically I'm more of a team player in a multiplayer game by not thinking I have to one shot everything. Look, I get it, Bethesda provided the tools for bloodied but, wow, does it make this player base dull.
Same-ish.
Being overpowered is not fun; it's boring. The enemies don't matter. There is no thinking involved. No strategy. You basically cut out 95% of the game by making everything trivial.
I dont even use bloodied weapons with a low health build. Even my op cremator isn't bloodied. And I can do all content & most FUN for me is making LOTS of exp.
I see full health builds and low health builds using op weapons all the time ... its a part of the game. There is no strategy past being a murder hobo, well other than using lower dps weapons to let everyone tag mobs at events?
This was fun, thanks for the laughs.
Not me, nope. I love those experience points to level up
