Has anyone stopped using unyielding since starting?
I’ve had a full set of unyielding for ~1-2 weeks now and I just don’t see how I can justify getting back into power armor or returning to full health, it’s that strong. The only time I die is in daily ops and only if I’m wreckless.. I wanted to get the Union Power Armor since the fix but I don’t know if I’ll be able to enjoy anything but unyielding anymore..

So I’m wondering if anyone out there has stopped using unyielding and why and how do you feel without it?

If you don’t know, 1 piece of unyielding armor gives +3 to all special stats except endurance when below 20% hp for a total of +15 for the full set, which is incredibly strong.

There is no reason to, unless they nerf it. The bonuses are just too good. It's really that simple.

i got sick of dying a lot so i found some ways to have fun without having to scrape my insides of floors while dealing some damage

1. Bloodied Power Armor - you get yourself some heavy guns that have no spin-up animation, i prefer mg42, 50cal and Plasma Caster for insane Vats crits.

2. PA and explosives. Stabilised works with explosive heavy guns too. so get yourself two shot Broadsider, Auto Grenade launcher and rocket launcher - and have fun.

Broadsider is crazy when on low Hp, you can use it in a single Daily ops, then sell cannonballs in ammo exchanger to get yourself rockets for a couple of days. Carnivore lets you have 33 luck in PA a the time - you just have to find 2 extra luck from armor, perks and whatnot.

3. Full HP Melee (carnivore only) - just cook yourself some glowing dogies or bay tasty yaoguai ribs from vendor and youre ready to shred things. Melee works a bit worse in PA because it slows you down a little.

Or you could, you know… Not die? :D Low HP build, if done right, is literally more survivable than Full-hp build… all without Power armor.

I am glad i did not do any bloodied build at all until I had done basically everything else first. I will be sticking with bloodied on the 2 characters I have it on as i don't have as much time to play anymore and i can get more done and get more xp in a shorter time.

Yep, that has been my experience. I die far less than when i was full hp because of the focus on damage mitigation and survival perks. Serendipity perk is totally busted it is so good at keeping you alive.

I also have a 2nd set of SS armour with 5/5 OE and 3/5 sentinels and using all DR/ER perks and survival perks i can be as tanky as PA but in regular armour which is a lot of fun. Losing UNY hurts though for Xp, Vats accuracy and total AP and sneak etc though so much that it is far better to just stay with my full UNY armour set.

I have two builds, unyielding + bloodied and overeaters PA + autoaxe. New content where I care about the events and bosses I stick with PA. Just messing around (which I haven't done in a while), unyielding + bloodied.

Never used unyielding since bloodied was boring and i came to PC, been full health melee since and wouldn't ever go back to bloodied or unyielding again. But we all have our own preferences that aren't the "META"

I'm a full health build. Non-unyielding, non-bloody.

In solo, I do totally fine.
During events, you guys carry me.
During dailies, the same and I stimpak you when you die.

So it's win-win from my perspective.

Low life IMO is the most boring way to play this game. I'm at a stage where all that is interesting is events and the low life play style is to be so detached from those events, sitting up high, not able to do some objectives.

Playing full health puts you in the action and that is far more enjoyable to me. That was the decision to shelf the unyielding armour.

I can run ore, I can collect Gulper venom, I can repair rad scrubbers, I can take a hit from mobs without relying on luck (serendipity perk), I can stay mobile and not bug out melee mobs helping events run more smoothly, etc.

Basically I'm more of a team player in a multiplayer game by not thinking I have to one shot everything. Look, I get it, Bethesda provided the tools for bloodied but, wow, does it make this player base dull.

I have a set of SS for overeater (full health) and unyielding, my mood can go one way or the other but at the moment im in overeater cause some days I just need to turn my brain off and shove a double barrel shotgun up the nose of all the trash mobs in front of me.

Im doing just fine with full health/Non PA rifle build that Ive been using since the first day the game came out.. My alien disintegrator one shots like 75% of the enemies I encounter and makes quick work of most elites. The event bosses being the only enemies I cant mindlessly melt.

Same-ish.

Being overpowered is not fun; it's boring. The enemies don't matter. There is no thinking involved. No strategy. You basically cut out 95% of the game by making everything trivial.

Why are so many players so angry that players like Unyielding armor builds?
I dont even use bloodied weapons with a low health build. Even my op cremator isn't bloodied. And I can do all content & most FUN for me is making LOTS of exp.

I see full health builds and low health builds using op weapons all the time ... its a part of the game. There is no strategy past being a murder hobo, well other than using lower dps weapons to let everyone tag mobs at events?

This was fun, thanks for the laughs. :mead::VLOVEIT::beeped::cactusrum:
