What Cremator mods should I use?
I legit don't know which mods would work best for my build.

https://www.falloutbuilds.com/fo76/planner/#AwsCBgINBwgBAQEGAw0PEBESNk8CJQMjA04D5AEDfwLEAQOvAQIQAW8FOwNEA4ECAWsD0QECmAEDhwICiQIDmQEDigIDygEDcQPqAQM2AiQDGQORAgIABugJ7wnfCecJ5QkA

This is the build I currently use for my Heavy Weapons w/ power armor. Generally, I've been running a Holy Fire, Ultracite Gatling Laser, Gauss Minigun, and .50 Cal Machine Gun, for variety. I just don't know if any specific mods for the Cremator would work better on this build over other mods, and the ones I've been using feel extremely lacking in damage, compared to, especially, my Holy Fire.

Slow burner mod is a must. Very ammo-efficient, now that you only need to hit once, and let the DOT take care of the rest. Since it no longer relies on direct damage, you can roll for Vampire legendary, and with the help of the Ricochet perk, keep you alive, especially since the Cremator has a tendency of burning you as well if the target is too close. Speaking of which, you will likely want Fireproof as well, to mitigate some of that sort of damage.

Once I hit an enemy with the Cremator, I would immediately switch to a secondary weapon, such as the Holy Fire, and deal more direct damage on top of the Cremator's DOT. It's a potent combination that also makes you practically invincible with all that vampiric healing as well.

Okay so, I was enjoying his insight until he mentioned having 5 bloodied Cremators. I'm definitely not going to run -that- many cremators, nor would I ever sully my inventory with a Bloodied weapon lmao. But, knowing that generally, multi-shot + slow-burn is the ideal 'hurt lots of things fast' method does help... I'll keep giving that a try.

He was min/maxxing the testing. And I agree.
I find it works good with just 1 Cremator, I'm not chasing the best dmg numbers to solo the 2 hardest boss's.

Agreed. I'm also not interested ins wapping my perks (since most of the ones that matter are already on my build.) I just want one that's decent, that can keep up with the rest of my build. (Most of my weapons are Aristocrat's anyways, lol)

Waitwaitwait... I think I must have somehow missed that in his video. Does the Vampire perk give you health for every tick of DoT, too? Like, from the 12s Cremator DOT? That's so amazing.

No, the DoT does not trigger vampire. The initial hit will, and ricochet will if you are holding a vampire weapon.

Why not use some more Creamators and stack that DOT?

Cremator, Holy Fire, this whole game starts to feel like Medieval Inquisition Simulator. F76 devs are morbidly obsessed with burning things. What's next, Pyro Howitzer?

Wont flamer's Dot override Cremator's Dot?

This game is generous with stacking most effects. You can even carry 4 cremators and stack those dots

with my basic setup without napalm or quad barrels, I get 2100 vs his 2300

edit just checked with my PA heavy setup and get 2300, but I loose fire mitigation and some evasion perks
