Can you finally fix Encrypted already?

The entire event has to be the most cancerous thing in the entire game. Lagg fest galore. No tactics or sense whatsoever. You receive damage out of all directions and have no chance to plan or play around strategically except focusing the Sheepsquatch. The boss itself has 0 consistancy. Sometimes he instantly 2 shots you, other times you can tank 50 of his attacks before still getting 2 shot by..... something. The event needs a serious overhaul.

Two Shot Grenade Launcher with Demolition Expert will give you alone time with the Imposter.

The past few times I've done this I wasn't able to hit the thing once because others killed it too quickly. I get the event completion rewards but I'm not able to loot the body unless someone in my party tagged it.

i let others do all the work while i activate the towers to remove it's shields. It is annoying how it can down me when i'm not near it. I'm trying to get the fixer plans.

I'm starting to let the others do the work in a lot of events. I'm usually stealthed so I rarely get seen by enemies. But yeah, I'm tired of my losing so many rounds of ammo and getting crappy rewards.

Pretty much my experience. I start taking out the aggro and turn around it's already dead didn't get a shot in.

Pretty freaking much. I love using the chinese stealth armor along with stealth perks. The perk to go into stealth for enemies to lose sight of you is sooo good for a stealth character. But it doesn't matter when it comes to that stupid event boss. As someone said- it's rigged to down you if you host the event. Even if you are in stealth; you will go down in a blink of an eye. SO make sure you drop all your resources off before you start it up. Side note; i deadass hitted R on my power armor left leg during the queen fight and didn't noticed until after i left the area. Someone must've just took it and didn't see me before i left. lmfao

Indeed. If you're lucky enough to have a TS/E Fixer, it works just as well.

I'm sure the weak servers don't help the situation, but I feel your disdain for that event. If one is lucky enough to have a bunch of friends in game, I'm sure it would be easier. Even when I wear full troubleshooter armor, use my TS/E Fixer (w/ Demo perk), it's quite a mess. Usually nothing but chaos. Unfortunately, I usually find myself surrounded by people who only focus on the pylons, and the Imposter. The number of bots seems to be hit or miss, as well.

I've had 40ish bug reports to Bethesda for lots of reasons ... but aside from the "normal" bugs, I've never had your problem at the Encrypted Event. I played a bloody build and I could tank that damage until lady luck betrays me. I suggest you read or watch some guides.

I like the chaos.
This event has a pretty steep learning curve, but not hard with the right gear. I will say it's pretty annoying when you tank all the pylons and someone nukes the sheep because I can get a hit on it.

Dont join events then, losing ammo is minor it is common everywhere and craftable in bulk.

being a leech is worse.

And how the f*** do you even contribute to an event, when some random unloads his explosive automatic gun or gattling plasma on everything, literally melting them in seconds? Not to mention making corpses fly all over the place, making it pretty hard to even loot corpses?

I play melee, and the moment I notice those explosive bullets flyng around, I just either focus on doing support during events (e.g repairing the pipe in Feed the People) and don't even bother in killing anything, unless it's coming after me.

Don't bring a knife to a gunfight.

You either use AoEs or a fast hitting ranged weapon in Events.

Keep your perks the same and pick up a Flamer for events.
