The fridge is also good for saving Scorchbeast parts when you're just a few parts shy of being able to make Scorchbeast Mixed Stew and need a SBQ fight or a couple regular SB kills to have everything.
note: look for Felidash in 76...
its 50% spoil speed
The backpack is 60% and an alt toon with Good with Salt x3 is 90%
food doesn't stack and it weights a lot more than you realize without the weight perk in agility
I don't think it is worth spending Atoms on it and losing lots of budget space to it.. The Nuka Cola fridge looks cool, but that's just about it. I regret purchasing it.
-items in the fridge will put additional stress on your stash limit
Fridge needs a huge buff to actually be worth the high atom asking price
i guess you could say the same about normal armor. i wear power armor under specific circumstances but just stow my gear though keep my under armor clothe just because i'm a prude i guess.
useless, don't buy it.
1. Putting items into the fridge will cost you budget. I literally had to remove items from my camp in order to place items into the fridge and the fermentor.
2. There is two spoilage bars, raw and cooked. When you cook an item it gets a new full spoilage bar.
I am on the fence on using the fridge. It is nice to have in case you need it.
For example, I just did a Surface to Air and got like 6 Scorch Beast Brains, that many will spoil long before the buffs run out on the first two eaten.
Sure you could use Good with Salt, but you are using perk points to do that instead of your camp doing it for you.
Using alternate characters to store also comes with a few pains. Losing your place in a group to store or fetch. Then also the issue of getting back to the same server (if you have Fallout 1st..then buy the fridge, duh.)
I had also waited patiently on the fridge and got mine in the Log Cabin Bundle. Where you aint quite paying the 500 Atoms.
