My alcoholic character... :( how to fix him

I've just started playing Fallout 76 again after playing it for a while when it came out and I've run into a problem.... My character has become alcoholic, I gave him only alcohol to drink because I thought 'clever me, if I give him the liquor bottles on the map I won't have to waste wood on water'.
Well, now he's addicted and he has negative things.
How do I take that away from him? I can't find the addicctol anywhere.

you have to drink alcohol so the debuff goes away and try your best to find addictol... check out arktos pharma for medical supplies or check out the train stations since they have medical vending machines

At Nuka World on Tour go to the medical vendor. He sells addictol. It is the only thing that will get rid of it.

There is a recipe that cures one random addiction, dont remember the name.

I think it's Radtoad eggs, look under all foods for recipe. EDIT not radtoad eggs

Addiction can be cured by using Addictol
- cures all addictions (found while exploring Appalachia or sometimes sold at Player Vendor)

and

Radscorpion egg omelette - randomly cures 1 addiction (craftable at a cooking station)

If i remember, some of the drinks we can consume also clear some addictions, but i'm not sure. Its been a very long time since I played. Only came back recently.

I know the drinking fountain at the golf course cures deseases, not sure if that works on addictions.

I think I've been officially killed by intelligence, I'm looking all over the map for this nuka-kola place, I've gone through the factory and nothing.
and those eggs I looked up and read that you only get them during a quest or something, I'm only level 15 so I don't know if I can get into that.

If you're new to the game you may not have discovered Nuka World on Tour yet. It's in the Ash Heap, SW portion of the map, just west of Lewisberg. It's map icon is a bottle of Nuka-Cola.

There's a medical vendor NPC very near where you spawn in. Spawn in and look to your left.
