Black Titanium?

Hello, where is the best place to get black Titanium? I'm trying to craft the excavator armour to unlock the power armour stand and I have no idea where to get it?

A few workshops have ore viens of Black Titanium
1: Gorge Junkyard
2: that one in the far South East in the bog
3: the Mount Blair giant miner

and the U-Mine it vending machine at the Rusty Pick

Welch is the easiest place. The city is full of it along the exposed bedrock. Sometimes it spawns as coal or lead tho.

best way to farm them easy is going to Welch train station from there go down the town there is like 12 mole miner. kill them all scrap their equipement and server hop to repeat. you can get 50 blacktitanium in like 15 minute

Sorry to be a noob, but where is Welch? I've only gotten around the map by doing events and fast travelling to them!

Bottom-left on the map in the ash wastes. You have to go there for one of the overseer holotapes.

I got really lucky... An amazing higher level player gifted me a bunch 1 time while I was at their base and I was able to craft my Excavator armor set..... The community in this game is so wonderful... Its a refreshing change

Mount Blair/Welch is where me and my kid farmed as much Black Titanium as we needed to complete the quest to build Excavator Power Armor. It's in the very Southwest of the map. https://fo76map.com/ is a really good interactive map I use occasionally.

And here's a tip from another new player: When you join a Casual Group (which you should always do) and you see someone in the group in an area you've never been to you should fast travel to them and go to the nearest point of interest so you can unlock a fast-travel point for later use. I also do this with the camps of other team members. Travelling to group members or their camps/survival tens is free and is a great way to unlock fast-travel spots on the map. I do this all the time and it saves a few caps if I need to get somewhere and someone in my group has a camp close by it or they're exploring an area nearby where I need to go. I'm a very frugal traveler.

in the mine north to the Rusty Pit you get get about 30 black titanium (look everywhere), just facing some packs of Scortched guys.
