Radstag spawn place

Hey, I'm looking for a place where I can see and put a radstag to sleep without being blown to pieces by a level 50 super mutant with a minigun 😅

I can't do Rose's questline without radstag meat (I wasted my explosive bait for no progress), any help will be appreciated!

In Toxic Valley east of Wavy Willards. Stick to the hills/mountains.

Whitesprings usually has one around the golf shop pool area towards where people usually water farm on the course.

Fast Travel to the Raider base and leave heading South West'ish, follow the water.
You'll find lots.

Thank you all for mentioning some places - while heading to toxic valley I also found a radstag hanging out of a tree in "Surly's Shack".
I think it would be a guaranteed location for new characters.

Was coming here to say that Lan'es Responder Dailies have the meat traps that have redstag hanging from them. Usually find a couple of good meats in there.

I live between wayward and lumber and I constantly have radstags infiltrating my house, so maybe the whole foresty area around there could be worth a check.

I've seen radstags running into the middle of Flatwoods today for some reason so there may be a chance for them to spawn in those areas

They can spawn pretty much everywhere in Forest area, same with Toxic Valley and Savage Divide. They are a bit rarer in Ash Heap, Mire and Cranberry Bog. Oh, keep your eyes open for friendly white radstag named "observant radstag", if you see one follow it, it will lead you to a tree stump stash that has some useful stuff for lower level players. :)
