All they needed to do to fix the Survival Mode was remove V.A.T.S. from PVP and fix some of the ability to spam consumables. For those people recommending Fallout 4 Survival Mode, please don't make me laugh. There is no comparison to real vault-dwellers hunting you down.
You mad?

They tried ... there were so many other ways players cheated in Nuclear winter

But even with those cheaters, it was fun pvp, I do miss Nuclear Winter

I don't care for PVP or Nulcear Winter, but many people liked so I think Bethesda should bring it back.
One of the reasons my Steam review for F76 is NEGATIVE is because Bethesda forces all players to play this dumb, super easy mod.
Who in PvP hurt you?
I think hardmode for PVE would be really cool.
After getting some power armor and good gear, the game turns to story mode difficulty.
I started to play, One year after the launch of Fallout 76, after Bethesda Finally stopped constant patching over December. I have a slow Internet. Survival mode, was not appealing with all the high level players, and the Explosive weapons, that were removed before I got to level 50. So playing with people that had better luck getting a Explosive weapon, or that not with terms of service, bought a weapon with real money. That really sounds like fun, I wonder why, Survival did not attract more players.
Survival was removed by the time, I got to about level 32. I played Nuclear Winter, after I Capped
Putting all the turrets, in a the same spot, clipping together, and so they would shoot all directions, I was there for that. I stayed to the end of the match, saw players under the map.
Watch, the hackers sprinting in the air, in power armor, shooting all the players, on the map, to the end. The only hope, for the weekly assignments was to leave, after the hacker killed you, was to try to get a full Nuclear Winter lobby, before they finished off the server. It was not just at the last few weeks. I used 2 seasons, and before, when ever Bethesda had double xp, and played Nuclear Winter, until I got tired of being in lobbies, with hackers on PC.
It was not just the last week, but constant. Getting a clean Nuclear Winter game, was more of an exception then a rule.
No Anti-Cheat, no way of the game having a kill zone under the map, no flag, for players being above the map for longer, the a jump from the Frog legs mutation Nuclear Winter Perk card, or checking if you actually dropped down, from a height. There was no, Jet pack in Nuclear Winter, no Coffee, or food. So, yea, I was there, to get no enjoyment, from the Hackers, and that killed Nuclear Winter Mode on PC, and crushed its numbers.
I got my overseer rank 100 about month, before the Nuclear winter servers went down. It help with the overseer points that transferred to, the "new" at the time Legendary Perks system. I was spamming Pictures, for the other 3 characters, to try to get them points for the Legendary Perks, via the Overseer Rank, and Perk Cards, I don't quite remember, if it was both Overseer Rank and Perk Cards in Nuclear Winter, for what counted for the "new" Legendary system.
I got to enjoy, All items, not in a container, being strip-mined, by some player with hacks, in the main game. Constant, Server Crashes with the Dupers of, weapons, plans, and armor, etc.
I missed the Early Days, of only low 700 weight stash, making a un-grief-able camp, out of Concrete Foundations. I had enough fun, Keeping my camp up. I finally broke down, after my Secondary Character, got mugged at a Workshop, by a Fallout First Sales person. Now with Fallout First, they can enjoy getting their own junk. Now, I don't wait for the server, to go down in 30 minutes, to capture a workshop, for Season Score.
I enjoyed, the day one, deletion of my per-order download, for Fallout 76. Since, it took me 3 weeks, to get the 50 Gigabytes download. But, Battlefield 5, was coming out 2 weeks after the launch, of Fallout 76. So, I tried to download when, I was not playing BFV, But, After about twenty Gigabytes, a patch was released, and reset the download. I Stop, trying after 6 months. Then got a larger hard drive, and lucked into a window of time, with out patches, and could play. I activated my STEAM version, after, 3 days, of Wastelanders, crashing after 3 Gigabytes, of downloading. So much for my few (200-300) hundred Atoms, stuck on the Bethesda Launcher.
I still have yet, to play Starfield, due to my slow internet. And the constant patching, resetting the download on STEAM. after about 60 Gigabytes, But could not get to the last 20, to 30. I guess, I missed another window, of no patches, but at least, I can still return it. If I get frustrated, with more patches. I miss the days, of Having a disk, and just downloading the patches. Not downloading the new build each time, because I was short 20 Gigabytes, before some 1.2 Gigabyte patch comes out.
**As I stated at least a year ago when you used this account for a very similar thread, OP, it was it's time. Let it go. We can both hope for something better made so we can once again emulate annihilating each other, but until then stay safe 76er, see you out there
Then how did we win so many matches? Let me guess. We were cheaters too? lul...
How did we legitimately win matches while dealing with wall/bobblehead exploits, turret breaks at whim (shotgun?) and turret stacking, flying (swimming through the top layer of the game world), nuclear briefcase cheats (instant launches upon match start/nukes dropped centered on enemy teams simultaneously), perfect aim, infinite ammo, damage exploits from increased drug potency, etc...? Well that's where the fun lay in it for me, and if it was for you as well then it's one thing we agree on.
However if you won "so many matches" it's likely that someone you teamed with or even you in ignorance could have been engaging heavily with exploits. I know I teamed on public teams with shady people by accident on a multitude of occasions (that infamous fella who Revolver one shotter from across map - yes I blocked him and he proceeded to add me to his kill list - lol). I also teamed with some exceedingly good players who took pride in their PvP skills - and pity upon me.
This comment was pretty juvenile also.
