Returning player heavy build

Hey guys, I’m burning through ammo with my heavy build. I have a bloody explosive mini gun (although I’m in PA full health) so the bloody perk is not useful.

I also have a bloody explosive .50.

Is there a cost effective weapon to compliment? I read that a plasma caster can one shot?

And tips would be great

if you want reserve ammo,then cremator DOT is good,but it's and its mods season locked.

Plasma Caster gets you more ammo back than you use and if you do daily OP´s and expidtions and equip the Plasma gatling when you end them, you get cores as a reward. Also the normal flamer and the HolyFire from the event do give back more ammo than you use.

Cremator is a no skill weapon tbh. And annoying af with it´s graphical effect. If there is more than 2 people with a cremator you already don´t see ♥♥♥♥ anymore.

I’ll have to Google this, never done dailies but it sounds like i need to give it a go. What’s the best in slot heavy weapons these days for heavy? All my stuff is pretty much bloody explosive as it was so good back then. I have a couple of one star vampire mini guns and Gatling plasmas still and a few medic Gatling plasmas

Its easier for me to say you should go watch Angry Turtle, WestTek or another guide maker for all the info you want/need.

First off i'd say get yourself an anti armor weapon instead of bloodied. And use all your available food/etc buffs for more dmg/crits/etc.

For Minigun, complement it with a Gatling Gun. Then run some Daily Ops/Expeditions with it = more 5mm than you can carry.

I crafted 25k ultracite 5mm ammo, ran 4-5 expeditions and now have 45k ultricite 5mm. And honestly, after the second one I stopped using the Gatling Gun and started using the Minigun and STILL was gaining 5k ammo per run.

What i do for 5mm is i have equipped scavenger and gattling gun with a speedy reciever. Fires slow but hits like a truck so far i am sitting at 18k ammo for it and even when using foundation vengance with accelerated barrel i don't really ever run out of ammo at all.

Yes even ultracite. I came back in April with 2000 ultracite rounds for the plasma caster. Now i have 30K and didn´t craft a single one. And it´s just one weapon i use out of 4.

Whale Hunter, yeah. you dont even need ammo , just the empty gun equiped, then loot the first few kills your teammates make for ammo. And start helping :)

Gatling Laser.

The Gatling Laser uses Fusion Cores and if you have the Fusion Core Regenerator you have an unlimited amount of ammo. Without even trying I have about 35 Fusion Cores in my stash and if you use the Batteries Included perk they're virtually weightless. I Used to use Batteries Included and Power User and I'd carry 6 Fusion Cores with me at all times and I never once ran out of cores. Ever. Gatling Plasma also uses cores and while I'm not 100% certain Power User works with Plasma Cores I never ran out of ammo with them either. Things were so insane I stopped using Power User all together and still don't run out of power in my cores.

Yeah, if you run out of ammo use Gatling Laser. And pick up every Fusion Core you can find. And whatever you do save up the 700 Atoms for the Core Regenerator. I've made over a thousand Atoms from Season rewards and in-game rewards like finding wood or taking pictures and that was the very first thing I bought with them.

Thanks for all the advice guys, been doing a couple or the expos and the ammo is rolling in. I just need to find some flux so I can prime my gun again lol
