Daily Scrip Cash In Limit is dumb
Im full of legendaries both on my person and in my stash (2 to 3 stars with a few 1 stars) and I literally have to STOP playing the game and wait till tomorrow before I can continue. Why not just remove the scrip cash in limit and limit how much scrip I can USE daily so that I can actually continue playing the game without running out of space

Genuinely offering a tip on the optimization:

If your Stash is full of legendaries... Clean out all the Power Armor parts first on the next reset. And from now on - don't even bother picking them up. I'm dead serious and not joking or talking sarcasticly here. PA parts weight way too much, for little benefit over regular armor. You could fit in OH SO MANY MORE weapons/regular armor into the same stash/inventory space as literally one singular PA piece. Most parts are 10+ weight, which can fit so many 3-star weapons(especially with -90% weight rolls or just pistols/lighter weapons) and even armor.

3-star PA part is 45 scrip, but weights 10+. While something like a -90% weight pistol can be like 0.1 weight, while yelding 40 scrip. And you still could fit even more 40-scrip guns into that same space of that one 10-weight PA part.

So unless it's some part with a prefix that you'd use yourself, in your own armor (or good enough to sell) - don't even pick up this PA part. They are just not worth it.

- Is it a solution to your "problem"? No, not really. Just a minor optimization to fit even more.
- Are the limits (both stash and scrip/caps/gold) dumb? Of course. I never said I disagree with you.
- But are these limits ever going away? Doubtful. Most likely they are here to stay, no matter how much we hate it or speak out against it. Just because it's part of the "live service" type of game. Same as every other similar type of game out there, with daily login rewards, daily/weekly/monthly challenges, dailyweekly/monthly goals, dailyweekly/monthly whatever else. We - gamers - let that stuff seep through into gaming and now it's too late. Companies adopted it as a "norm". One thread (among many) on Steam forum isn't "uproar" enough. Especially since we all will still keep on playing, eh?

Another one of these threads... Could have used a search function, ya know? :D

Yes, everyone hates it too. But it was implemented by Bethesda to keep you from "burning out" from the game, keep you logging on daily to actually collect that daily scrip(FOMO), as well as stop you from rushing through the whole progression in 1 day, getting best-in-slot gear with best possible rolls.

F76 is a "live service" game. And there's literally nothing we can do to change it. Especially writing such post on Steam forum (which is not the platform that Bethesda even reads for feedback/suggestions).

id rather make my own post about a topic or thought that I currently have than necropost a year old post, im not taking some trash talk from a damn candy bar.

considering that they literally make newsletter posts on Steam like the Meat Week event and the "2 million" announcement, SOMEONE at Bethesda is reading the steam posts guaranteed.

take your condescending tone to someone else brother cause ill dish it right back

Because the forum fills up with people repeating the same threads. We constantly repeat the same things to people who are too lazy to look for answers on their own.

That's why most forums close or combine duplicate threads. Because the whole situation is obnoxious to everyone involved.

you arent tied to a chair forced to reply to every "duplicate" thread you see. you arent getting paid to express how "obnoxious" it is to see these posts. but continue to exaggerate, makes your point even worse

...
Indeed.

All these limits are dumb. Its supposedly a nuclear apocalypse in America and we can't have more than 40,000 caps in our pockets and ALL merchants share the same bank account.

Gold bullion really dumb too. We can set up Gold extractors and have tons of refined gold ... but we can't turn it into gold bars .. nope. Instead we have to give old paper waivers to some machine which then gives us our rationed gold bulion we can then spend at that wannabe Fed. And don't get me started on that fashion challenged Gold seller at the Wayward ... now imagine being able to rob him and his Gold delivery truck. Now that would be fun.

Fallout 76's Nuclear Winter at least made it somewhat logical ... we're all stuck in a pod and the entirety of Fallout 76 is a simulation. How else could they keep us needing to pay real money for more storage space and all the new non cosmetic Atomic Shop items?

I need to go o. d. on a bowl of mixxed Fallout "medicine" now. :CoreKeeper_Gold_Bar::VLOVEIT::mead:
Thanks, was fun to rant about dumb Fallout 76 things.

Guess I'll log in an play since I can't sleep now that I'm flying high.

You know your wrong eh?

They "promised" not to add pay to win Atomic Shop items ...

Now years after they added the first small p2w items the Atomic Shop has FOMO p2w items galore.

Ka-Ching ! That "changed" ... hahaha

I suppose ... at least we did get a f*** lode of cosmetics and they gave all the poors an option to grind for most things in game. Todd "it just works" Howard is happy.

I thank you for your contribution to the topic my man, theres a lot of questionable decisions that Todd has made with some in game mechanics that for some reason just go by untouched. One such thing like nerfing the thorn armor to be horrible while leaving the bloodied builds with unyielding armor as rampant as they are

Soooo... which items are pay 2 win exactly? Not sure I get what you mean. Besides... This thread is not about that. So kinda... Off-topic?

This thread is about the legendary scrip (and other currency) limits. And outside of occasional "double amount, cuz reasons" type of deal... Yeah, nothing has changed for years on this matter.

Your point being?

Easy solution: Donation box. And simply destroy what you can´t put in there. You get enough the next day anyways. So who cares.

And those lmits do make sense. As already explained.

then stop being a hordiate, and sell that crap to a vendor and server hop.
There will most certainly be another eviction notice, and if you guys dont know this, you can trigger it by using a base in the area and building something in your base. This triggers the event.. "eventually"

im not giving away potential scrip for others to use when I could use it myself. that's a braindead suggestion.

and those limits do not make sense, as I have already explained in the original post

NPCs wont take the legendaries and I already max out their caps with purified water. I also still have to deal with the legendaries taking up space while they sit in my CAMP vendor HOPING that someone buys something and frees up space

Sure. We all understand that.

But it also doesn't change the fact that creating yet another thread about it here on Steam forum wouldn't make any sort of difference. :D Write directly to Bethesda's forum or support. Maybe then something will change in this live-service game, which needs these sorts of limiting mechanics to keep you engaged on a daily basis.

(Spoiler alert: nothing will change either way, not even if you write to Beth's forum or support, let alone creating yet another one here on Steam forum).
