I came directly out of ~700 h Fallout 4 when i started to play 76. I´m just a causal player. I wanted more of that, so i bought FO76 and started playing. I can't explain what a feeling it was to meet real chars in a Fallout universe who waved an hello if they cross you way. Unfortunatly it took not to long until i realized, this isn´t as good as FO4 by far. Specially i was missing the NPCs to bring live into the setting. it was fun for a while though. Then i stopped at ~300h playtime and came back about one year later to wastelanders update to never leave again until now. Heaven or hell, Beth never thought i would ever play a game liek this 2000 h and more. This game became part of my little life and i cannot stop playing it. A cople of months ago I had to go to the hospital for an operation, nothing special. During Nacose I dreamed about Fallout 76, so what should i say :)
my fav is without any doubt Fallout New Vegas, the lore, the queslines and the DLC are very in depth and the RPG aspect is spot on
When fallout 3 was released i was kinda disapointed since i was expecting a "top view" game like fallout 1 and 2, but it was also a diferent way to immerse myself within the game settings and i got used to it and eventually enjoyed it
Fallout 4 is a decent game , just not even close to the previous games (in terms of fallout RPG) but on the other hand it brought tons of new players into the "fallout franchise" and the graphics, scenarios, landscapes were very very good (comparing with fallout 3 and fallout NV) and we finally got the sweet "power armor" heavyness that the lore talked about
As for Fallout 76, i see it more like a Fallout 4 with multiplayer, ive been enjoying it ever since it was released (played on Beth launcher and later moved to steam)
Honestly its a fun game from lvl 1 to lvl 50, but the endgame is somewhat boring, sure wish there were more factions and more "deep RPG values" that other fallout games had
Deep down i would rank the rank the games from
1 - Fallout new vegas
2 - Fallout 1 ( the time limit was annoying)
3 - Fallout 2
4 - Fallout 76 ( mostly because its multiplayer, if it was single player i would rank it lower)
5 - Fallout 3
6 - Fallout tactics
PS: im not even gonna talk about fallout shelter
quality of the game, or quality of the consumer... which should we address first?
(Sorry, shelter fans. I gotta get my jabs in where I can; the numbers already show they beat us 76ers)
