just died to a trap base lol

It's kinda funny how it just happened. I was farming the wood for the daily and I'm up at the NW section of the map near the carnivale but instead of going to it and seeing if i can salvage enough to freemove or w/e...I go to this guys base even further north because theoretically he has a stash box too.

I get there after about 5 ish minutes of walking slow. Mind you i have some rad roach meat and wood that's about it. I'm lvl 14 on this character so i don't have pack rat yet still just getting some damage cards in so it can speed up the leveling process.

I go in his front gate thinking "maybe he's got like a farm thing going on" and i open the door and blamo. i set of some sort of trap or something and i just insta die lmao. I got really mad and said "f* you. you're stupid. your entire existence is f* worthless." and the lady i have over busted out laughing she was playing on the ipad some mobile game. i said "f* you." then "sorry." lol.

oh no you're ban has been lifted well i have to be on you're lady side one death and you already yelling and being pretty toxic, you really can be person to be laughed at ;) sure not a fan of trap camp but, there nothing in the game that says people can't go about doing that.

The tip of the day do not go to camps with junk on you, in case that it is a trap camp, or at least not hard to get items junk on you, if you die to them kinda camps you just have to accept the death and move on even if you get mad at losing stuff at the end of the day was bit of your fault for taking junk into risk like why do gamba with your junk when at some point you will run into one of those camps.

I never saw one till i became lvl 122 and i learned the hard way to now in future store my junk before going to other peoples camps.

Oh and if there is a chance of getting the junk back do so but, most likely the player was waiting around the camp for the death and already got it before you could get back there to try get it.

Its happened twice to me and its annoying.

Its not high on my life scale of worries though, you know small things = small minds.

common knowledge hmm maybe back in the day but, now days these camps seem to be pretty rare sighted in severs well from what i've seen and my brother over the years.

LoL, Trap bases were nerfed huge, they were a lot more fun back then.
We used to build trap rooms where players would spawn if they fast traveled to the Nuclear Power Plant to contest the claimed location. That was fun, dude would spawn in prison get burned then shot. That was fun stuff.

Trap bases are ToS violations (they all rely upon various glitches and exploits to get the traps the way they do)

They are also generally quite vulnerable to mobs... like one I found at the whitesprings, sadly I mistakenly fired on and aggroed on over a couple of the big sentry boys and a few of the other lesser robots

Well naturally I took cover behind his walls to avoid 'certain' death at the hands of those military npc robots that his base afforded

which triggered his npc camp follower to attack the robots, which triggered them to consider his base hostile and well either it was my hiding out inside while they shot at me or them just attacking his base because of but he was left with a lot of holes

Thankfully I was able to eventually flee from what rubble remained as it no longer provided me protection from the robots.

The best one i found was a rube goldberg machine that dropped me down curved heated chutes with spikes at the bottom that fried me like a chicken. I would get mad but damn it was creative. If your vendor isnt out in the open just keep going there nothing there you want.
