Could someone please recommend me a good place to buy good and water?

Watoga (south east of the map) and Moma Dolce are two great spots for canned food or raid some farms then plant food.

I assume that you are low level (under 50), right? There is no really any good option for buying food/water, I would recommend to craft it yourself. Players sometimes sell water but the prices are usually crazy.

In Billings Homestead there are tons of Razorgrain and just next to it, in Silva Homestead, there are tons of Corn.

For the water, having a couple of water purifiers in the CAMP helps. Otherwise, just boil the water form a lake or a river - use 1 Rad-X, go bashing R key, use 1 RadAway when you are almost done, but keep collecting water until RadAway stops working to maximise the amount of water without spending more meds.

At rank 1 You take 30% less radiation from eating or drinking.
At rank 2 You take 60% less radiation from eating or drinking.
At rank 3 You no longer take radiation damage from eating or drinking.

It's handy and helps you a lot if you're a roamer like me. then you can also sell your Boiled and Purified water to others, or just give it away. water is water it's the easiest thing to come by. also recommend combining it with Aquaboy/Aquagirl. You no longer take Rad damage from swimming and can breathe underwater. and for food i'd say go with Cannibal Perk Card.

Progress through main storyline you will get a "Water puriifer" blueprint. This will generate 2 free purified water at your CAMP pretty fast.

Do Events especially low level events you will be swimming in Purified water \ Stim packs \ Rad X \ Radaway ( Radaway I have over 400 and I regularly give away 40 at a time to new players )

Good place for food is also Animal packs.
Toxic Valley is known for tons of Animals you can get Meat From.

But any Food "Cannery" is a good source of preserved Food.
If you are in a pinch just collect dirty water and boil it. There is usually some one elses CAMP or a cooking spit not too far away from any location.

I consider only purifying water important, I can sell it, gift it during events, radaway savings, etc.Bulk water purifiers are a great help..water+hard bargain card=many money.
he location, you have to consider if you want to be a vendors and as we know we have the freetravel for the vault 76 location and Spruce Knob, or you want to be on your own then on the map.
The most requested locations have the problem of finding the location already occupied on the server, then changing until the location is free
East of Pleasent Vally is a very popular and clean place, you may have noticed that there are always vendors.
I personally like the small lakes south of the Apline River Cabins and the small lake of the Gilmun Lumber Mill.
Maybe I'll try to build the Utility Vault in the lake of watoga Quarry X3 and tame the beautiful queen.

Hop from camp to camp. A lot of people leave their water purifiers unlocked so you can get clean water that way. You will also find lots of planted crops you can harvest. It cost caps to fast travel between camps but not near as much as buying it all.
Build your own camp and plant crops then harvest as you get hungry. They grow pretty fast.

Kill and cook as you go. Ive had no trouble staying fed and watered.

hum, you can find all that for free. At every old restaurant, super market, fast food joint, other player bases for free water , those farms for veggies and cranberries and etc. With the level capping now you can travel the whole map without getting 1 shot anymore.

And almost everything you kill can be cooked. Or get the cannibal perk and never cook again unless you want some buffs.

If you really want to buy food and water, go to player vending machines, most often they sell all that for much less than the NPC vendors at Watoga, Railway Stores, and other vendors.
But make sure you do NOT buy from players charging stupid high prices. :)

If you have fallout 1st capture the charleston landfill workbench near nuka cola factory it has a water purifier that gives 5 purified every few mins and sunshine meadows workbench gives canned meat. YOu can try it on public too I doubt anyone needs those areas that bad

Sunshine Meadows needs 100 energy to power it up. I wouldn't call it an easy source of food. You either need to have junk and plans for power generators or you need to power up the Poseidon Nuclear Plant, which will give you a few hours of free energy, before you have to do the quest again.

Get a couple workshops, people rarely get them and its even rarer to meet an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who takes it from you. Every time you defend one you get purified water, I have so much now I dont even want them and are spamming them in place of stimpaks which I ran out of. You also commonly have to defend against molerats and dogs so thats about 30-50 food so long as you shoot each enemy once. Another good way is just to take from player camps purifiers. Again purifed water is so easy to come by that I cant see taking it as being an ass, it only can carry 5 at a time anyway and produces so fast they wont even realise someone took it.

The various water purifiers are cheap and farming is easy.
