catch up ont he lore before you sugegst places already in fallout games of the past. whole web site dedicated to fallout and its history hours of reading fun and knowledge youll have to create your perfect character for the next game.
but yes places already in other fallout games wont be locations for future fallout games.
keep your suggestions to this side of the rivers that run thru and youll be a lot closer to the right place when its finally teased.
and places either too far south like florida or north like minnesota wont really be used as they are too far from the locations they have already used...cant keep the story going if its in a totally new area with new every thing... they could but its going to be connected to fallout 4 as much as 4 is connected to 3.
to be fair, bethesda has already ignored a large chunk of the canon in previous games. I mean if they really didn't want to then they would ignore what happened in previous games like they've done mostly up to this point.
but fallout tactics isn't part of the official lore not fallout brotherhood of steel either, but maybe a better scenario would be Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Delaware or Minnesota.
Pieces of Tactics are used in the lore, notably Brotherhood airships.
While it might be interesting to see the rest of the world in theory. The problem is the core of what makes Fallout different from every other post apocalyptic games is the 1950's America style. Might as well just play Stalker or Metro, and pretend they are in the Fallout world lol.
Me personally I just want Fallout 5, and the next TES game to be on a new engine that can handle larger open worlds. And for Fallout I want Vehicles. There serious potential for Mad Max style elements in Fallout we don't really get to see. Could be set near Detroit I suppose since it used to be an automobile manufacturing hub.
I'd personally love to see an XCom-esque reboot of Tactics... Was a terrible Fallout game, since it completely butchered the lore from the very first words of the intro (BoS founded in a "military vault, etc) but was otherwise not a bad game in it's own right...
From what I understand, Bethesda have acknowledged the major events of Tactics (destruction of Vault 0, etc) as canon, but, otherwise, it's generally not...
