Wanted that glowing helmet.
That's because the Queen of the Hunt quest is guaranteed to spawn a 'cryptid'. Technically, if you do the quest, and don't kill the Cryptid you want, you can server hop before collecting the Genetic sample and have all new spots to investigate.

Try never fast traveling. They are far more common that you think.
Completely underwhelming encounter. Beyond killing it, there's nothing. And it's incredibly weak to boot.
It'd be more interesting if the encounter lead to some kind of clue to a hidden location or hidden quest.
I've tried not fighting the Flatwoods Monster and see if it stopped attacking. Dragging it all over the place. Nothing. Disappointing.
This game is severely lacking in easter eggs compared to previous fallout games.
I'm still hoping for a Pickman-ish random encounter/location.
