Anyone care to share awesome camp spots they seen?

Cheers! :D

Can't tell you that until we know what you're looking for in a location.

Do you go for just a good FT point, a place with a view, a good neighborhood, a resource node, on the water?

So many different questions.

Just a generally flat-ish area, view can be nice but not important, with or without water.

The area or ressources don't matter much to me.

I've been looking for something near trafficked area for future trader purposes.

I had a nice place with a nice view after lots of looking around, but since we got no welcoming mat and it was on a cliff, I kept spawning down on the cliffside and had to go all around up there hehe.

Near Flatwoods or Whitesprings would be the best choices.

Whitesprings itself would be a good choice, lots of build friendly areas in there.
But be aware it’s frequently targeted by missile lunches for flux gathering porpoises.

Foundation and Crater could be new high traffic areas, considering they are factional hubs now.

For high level player traffic, build near Watoga.
Close to Watoga Station is the best place.

Search around randomly If you find your own spot odds are it wont be taken when you login so you wont have to world hop, player hotspots are almost always taken.

Awesome Tilarta, i'll go check around Watoga :)

Be warned if you pick one of the more popular camp spots, you will have to load, reload, and reload more each time you want to play. If someone has built a camp where you have yours, yours will not spawn in when you join a world. You'll server hop a lot to find one your camp can spawn in.

No the land must be tested big trees can be annoying that you cant remove, also if your going to be trading you want more central location so when people open map your very visible

Exactly.

I think Fallout 76 is one of those games where it is very counter-productive to use "Best Spot to Build" videos or threads, because by default any spots mentioned will be used by other players, so you will just end up having to move your camp or server hop every time you log in.

Yup, that's why I asked around here. To get input from players who saw "interesting spots" and not necessarily the best spot or watching videos that showcases the same five spots.

You mean everybody else who watched that spot built there and I can't? :(
