Well, there is no notification about vending machines in my Fallout 76. In the top right corner only something about free Red Rocket poster. But I use russian game client, i guess thats the reason.
Even one on the side of my base had ...
I think this impediment is only for some users, I believe, temporarily!
Anyway this thing is painful because my chest is full and my bag is full aswell and i need to sell stuff...right now i need tons of plastic to pack some materials(like the 1800+ steel scrap) and sell them to the npcs...
One thing is sure as death...i'm not going to buy 1st service to get infinite storage.
Are you talking about the fact that you can see green vendors on the map? Just because they're disabled, doesn't mean players still don't have them "hooked" up, which enables the green vendor and make them visible on the map. You just can't use them, that's all.
Besides, why would anyone bother removing all their vendor items after painstakingly adjusting each price through Bethesda's horrible price input interface, just to have them work again later and do it all again? This way when it gets fixed, they won't have to do anything.
But they still don't work, so probably vending machines too.

1400cap a day is such a limiter and now that they removed the extra 1200 cap from the special traveling merchant....
God Bethesda sure doesn't want me to play

But with your explanation and that of my top colleague, I understood that these people appear as salespeople, because they had items for sale before the problem ...
