Player vending is currently disabled
I've tried to buy items in some machines of other players camps and the game keep throwing me that message. How can I enable it? I checked the game options and I don't see nothing related to this...

lol
It disabled in the game not player by player. It wont let me add things to my vending machine either. It's temporary while Beth deals with some problem of players being able to use vending machines to duplicate items or something like that.
I don't understand why Bethesda can't just inform players about vending machines issue at main page in game or somewhere in steam.

It does tell you in the main menu, at least last time I played.

Very much does, right in the top right corner.

Yep. "Vending Machines and Display Cases remain disabled while we investigate an issue."
Just checked.
Well, there is no notification about vending machines in my Fallout 76. In the top right corner only something about free Red Rocket poster. But I use russian game client, i guess thats the reason.

But I'm realizing that not everyone is in trouble, I can't, but on the maps I always see 3 or 4 who can ...
Even one on the side of my base had ...
I think this impediment is only for some users, I believe, temporarily!

They have the listed stuff in the vending machine but they cannot sell anything at all....

Anyway this thing is painful because my chest is full and my bag is full aswell and i need to sell stuff...right now i need tons of plastic to pack some materials(like the 1800+ steel scrap) and sell them to the npcs...
One thing is sure as death...i'm not going to buy 1st service to get infinite storage.

What "trouble" are you talking about?

Are you talking about the fact that you can see green vendors on the map? Just because they're disabled, doesn't mean players still don't have them "hooked" up, which enables the green vendor and make them visible on the map. You just can't use them, that's all.

Besides, why would anyone bother removing all their vendor items after painstakingly adjusting each price through Bethesda's horrible price input interface, just to have them work again later and do it all again? This way when it gets fixed, they won't have to do anything.

As is the message about display cases, which was in the same message.

But they still don't work, so probably vending machines too.

I'm at the point where I'm just waiting for vending machine to come back so I can sell stuff.

To much stuff in my stash and character that can have good sell value to just drop em.

1400cap a day is such a limiter and now that they removed the extra 1200 cap from the special traveling merchant....

God Bethesda sure doesn't want me to play :steamsad:

300/5000
What I had imagined is that maybe the developer was limiting a certain number of markets at a time, until making the necessary adjustments ...
But with your explanation and that of my top colleague, I understood that these people appear as salespeople, because they had items for sale before the problem ...
