Weapon attachments not showing on advanced alteration bench

What am I doing wrong? What do I need to do? I unlocked the weapon attachment pack...

If you have any Mods, start the game once without it, then you can use it again (after updating it).
Last time i use Mods - this solved this issues

Are you trying to put an attachment to a workshop item?

You can only alter items crafted on planet, workshop stuff cannot be altered.

I'm trying to figure out how to make a weapon attachment and put it on a shotgun but there's nowhere to make the attachment...

Oh, now i understand.
The alteration bench has two interfaces, kinda like the fishing bench.
You have the right part where you put the attachments on the item.
On the left side, you create the attachments.

If you point your crosshairs at the left side it should bring up the menu to craft attachments on the right side you can attach them.
They also highlight differently.
