This all being said the most cost effective storage is still mortar and pestle. It holds 30 slots can be placed and stacked in so many places that there really isn't a contest. Its the most cost effective storage in the game.
One issue I have with the kitchen storage block though is that you can't actually put a mortar and pestle on it. What the heck? It can only go on the Kitchen Bench. Probably has something to do with how the kitchen blocks can only snap to the kitchen bench, but still.
100% this.. I really hope they make this a thing and soon.
Doesn't remove realism at all... it just removes a boring part of the game. You assume you walked 10 feet got ingredients out of a cabinet and walked 10 feet back. Same as sleeping, (they don't make you leave your computer on for 8 hours) and taking a dump.
It "happens" they just don't make you sit through it.
