Pretty much! and your surrounded by giant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ grizzly bears, you can kill in about 4-5 stabs with a wooden spear.. and a ♥♥♥♥ ton of wolves, which wont die even after you have stabbed one 20 times with same said spear. While the rest of its pack is methodically tearing chunks of your ass off.
Found that if you just alt+F4 out, while knocked out, wait a bit, then join back in your rezzed with all your stuff and no penalties.
Yeah i noticed that on Twitch, what a crap game. makes no sense.
Did you even read any of the literature on the game? The atmosphere is toxic to humans.
With this "I don't understand it, it must be bad" attitude, I assume you make similar jaded statements about nearly every game that doesn't adhere to strict realism must be crap, no matter how small the violation is?
Thank you for saving the time I would had wasted
And of course if it was a legitimate beta it'd have happened months ago, for free, because they'd actually need players to beta test. When you charge money for a beta test especially when it's shortly before launch it's just a paid demo.
Gameplay cannot exist without restrictions. The goal of most developers isn't to create a near-perfect lifelike simulation without restrictions, it's to create a game with compelling gameplay. And on that front, I find the blend of the rogue-like "session-based" gameplay and survival components interesting, to say the least.
