Hopefully they tone down the insane lag at Asphodel world. So far that was the only place for me where I started lagging.

Oh gee this post was made in april lol I don't face any performance issue anymore with vulkan update. Heck game even runs on potato with vulkan now.
Unfortunately I'm trying to run Hades on a potato (a notebook with intel HD graphics), it would be nice to remove shadows and glow effect to improve the fps. Maybe the game already have those options
Ah thats sad indeed. All super giant games has this issue actually. None of them give option like removing lights or shadows. You could try contacting devs on discord, they're really active there.
Thanks for the suggestion!
"they're really active there." You're right, they already answered me!
It looks like you can disable some things like "\DrawBloom = false".
> · Right-click on Hades in your Steam Library
> · Select 'Properties...'
> · Press the button that says 'Set Launch Options...'
(this one works with any number as far as I know, though start with 8 and see where that gets you)
/DrawBlendMax=8
/DrawLights=false
/DrawColorGrading=false
/DrawBloom=false
/UseSwapEffectDiscard=true
/UseLowResAssets=true
Damn.
Whats what we all been looking for. I hope future SGG games include these option ingame next time they work on next project.
It's weird because while the game looks good I swear it looked a little more crisp in early access over on Epic. I'm running a 1440p display. Nvidia image sharpening doesn't seem to affect this game, either.
I don't know about any other tiers, and haven't seen anything to suggest otherwise (though I can ask the devs if you'd like)
I didn't include this in my initial reply because it wasn't about reducing graphics, but if you want to force high-quality graphics (and the game isn't doing it automatically) it requires two launch options:
/AutoDetectLowResAssets=false /UseLowResAssets=false
To your shortcut, or to the game's launch option properties? (unless you meant the properties, in which case nevermind)
