Hades
My logitech F710 sometimes is unresponsive and slides character around area.
I mentioned this on another thread, but i decided to mention it here. I am using a Logitech F710 controller. This controller can be played using x-input mode, which is basically xbox type thing. Sometimes when playing, the controller becomes unresponsive. This happened one time while i was fighting the last boss sadly, and made me lost the fight. Any tips on how to fix this issue? It basically makes Zagreus run around randomly when using it, making some boss fights super hard.

NOTE: Same issue seemed to happen also before the February 2nd update, so this issue was not fixed in the current patch.

Have you tried setting the launch options /UseNativeGaInput=true /UseNativeGaInputNoControllers=false ?

Heyo, sorry for the delayed response. When this happens, does it seem like the controller has been disconnected? For example, the lights on the controller might change, and any button prompts might change from controller to keyboard prompts.

I've had smiliar issues. I use a PS4 controller wirelessly paired to my laptop. Originally, I was using virtual bus driver because most of the games I play require it for full controller use (Kingdom Come Deliverance, for example, not all the buttons work without it). I stopped after a time because I was getting beter functionality direct through Steam via Big Game mode, specifically the stuttering issue mentioned in the OP. My problem now is, after the latest patch, the R2 button doesn't work at all. I can't give gifts or use the god specials. This issue remains with steam direct or virtual bus driver. I disconnected my controller, re-paired, no change. The button works on other games.

Nope. I do not see any controller button prompts. It just stops responding to me. I will keep an eye on it though. Usually the controller does not respond so i usually click all buttons on my controller and it finally starts up again. I tend to hit the D-pad...but even that is unresponsive usually. As for my operating system, i am using Windows 10 Build 2oH2.

Have you tested to see if this happens with any other games?

Yes, i played a game called. Cornerstone: The song of Tyrin. It did not happen on that game. In a little bit i will also be playing some FFX games. I will test it more, but it looks like it could be Hades game. If not, i will respond with the issue on here again on this post in the future. I did notice another person mentioned issues with this controller on a FPS game before also on steam.

Nope, i have not tried that. I may try that to see if it fixes my issue. How exactly do i put that in as a launch option on steam?

· Right-click on Hades in your Steam Library and select 'Properties...'
· In the pop-up menu, look for the field with the heading 'Launch Options'

And if those two don't work, I have some others I can suggest ^.^

Ok found it. So i type it just like mentioned before with the / and everything? Im guessing the last question mark does not belong in it.

Ok, testing will now start. I also wanted to mention in game controller setups, it is using the xbox controller setup. I seen it say under the controllers profiles in steam.

Updated: So far no problems. I will need to test more to see if the issue comes back. I will play more today. No problems so far. i think that line putting it on launch fixed my issue. Again, i will have to play more extensively, but i did three dungeon runs with the fix and it worked. Thank you for helping me. I will marked as solved. If i have this problem again, i will make a new post and refer to this one if i run into it again.
