But with the Aspect of Beowulf, casting felt very different: bloodstones never (afaik) lodge into enemies, and they fire off alongside your bull rush (which is part of your main attack), empowering it.
Anyway, my main two tips: first, go with any cast you like — I wouldn't significantly favor one cast over another here; and second, when executing your bull rush, release when the tip (not the main part!) of your bull rush charge indicator is nearby an enemy. That way, when the casts release at the end of the rush, they'll hit enemies. Also, unlike with other Aegis aspects, the base damage for Beowulf is the same at any charge!
As for other boons, I'd recommend the same boons as for any other aspect of Aegis. Boons from Poseidon, Athena, and Zeus, and sometimes Aphrodite (and maybe Ares), are all known to synergize well with Aegis.
