People break apart after the death of a child ALL the time irl man. It's called trauma. Seriously, I wouldn't throw blame at either of them.

Quick google shows me a study that says couples that experience a stillbirth are 40% more likely to break up. If you want to analyze deeper, Hades had a comfortable environment around him as king of the Underworld and had the support of his subjects. Persephone was someone who got kidnapped and had no family down in the Underworld for a support system. This is basically false equivalence, aka "omg what if a WOMAN did it?!?!?!"

I can understand why Persephone left, but i cant understand the fact that she didnt confront Hades immediately after she first met Zagreus. I dont understand how she could just stand in her garden, even so she is quite aware what Zagreus is going through to get to her. It took way too long for her to do what a mother should do.

At the very least because you can't just enter the underworld and leave on your own accord. Nyx helped her to escape first time around, but there's no guarantee the same thing is going to happen again. She was not ready to face possible consequences at the time (especially considering she's in a tight spot already - abandoning Mount Olympus without saying a word and stuff) and that is totally understandable.

She literally just jumped into Charons boat to get to the Underworld. She is and was always still the queen, of course she can just enter and leave by will. The guy who makes it hard for people to leave and enter is Hades, not the Underworld itself.

I also think you might misunderstood, or maybe i did, but Nyx helped her leaving Olympus, not the Underworld.

I don't think this is so. Zagreous is mad about Hades preventing his search. By the time you find out about (SPOILER) Zagreous is already questioning his previous assumptions.

Why do you look into this thread? The title alone should tell you that spoilers about the story are incoming.

You are welcome! Here's another one:

In the end, Zagreus dies.

weird it's almost like emotions are a fickle thing and everyone responds differently to traumatic events because immediate emotional responses are often not rooted in rationality

It was you. Persephone came to OIympus mainly because of Zeus, her leaving the underworld was due to Nyx.

P:"Nyx... of course she was involved. I only managed to escape because of her."
P:"Nyx may be veiling you from them as she veiled me when I fled here myself"
P: "All I really wanted was to leave Olympus. I didn't exactly abscond. I doubt I had much of a choice, but I went willingly. Perhaps Zeus knew how I felt, and thought he was doing me a favor."
H:"So... you had it mostly right, before. After I inherited the Underworld... your Uncle Zeus felt sympathy for me, he says. Your mother, he knew she was unhappy on Olympus. And... he knew I was drawn to her. So what did he do? He brought her here. Gave her to me as a gift!"

As for why she didn't come back:

Z:"then you secretely left Mount Olympus to be with the god of the dead in the Underworld. And Olympus never found out. What do you suppose would happen... if they did?" P:"I think... there would be war between Olympus and your father, Zagreus, if they found out. Especially now. After all this. And after all this time."
P:"Oh Zagreus... I cannot return. After all that happened between Hades and me, and everyone, I just cannot fathom the idea. Besides... the risks we're taking would be even greater if Olympus were to find me there, with him. And you."
P:"The truth is that I like it here, Zagreus. I have done well for myself on my own. And your father, he has his domain to look after. The feelings he once had for me... feelings we shared... they fade, with time."

All lines from Persephone's garden, except for the Hades line, which is post game.

She left Hades... but she is treated as the victim and Hades as the villain. Zagreus was dead for sometime after she left... If I was Hades, I would not look for her nor care for her... and would tell Zagreus the truth since the beginning= that she abandoned him and would tell of the dangers of the olympians and a possible war.. and if i was Zagreus, i would resent her for abandoning my father

not false equivalence at all, everybody loved the Queen, she abandoned them to be alone... when a woman do this kind of stuff, they are seem as victims (in real life and in the game)... if it is a man who abandons his wife after a stillborn, he is seem as a horrible, insensible monster who abandoned the poor wife in her suffering
and i think all this is just ♥♥♥♥ ed up

Not saying you guys aren't making valid points, but do you really think this is the right place to have that conversation? It's a video game.
