I don't know, I didnt even played the game yet (downloading) but I felt that coop would be cool but not mandatory at all I wouldnt put my hopes on but I thought it would be great but I really might be wrong knowing the fact I didnt even played the game yet. But when I watched the trailer I was hyped to see if I could play with my bro or my friend because it felt like it would be dope af!
I wasn't trying to be a jerk, and I apologise. It was an offhand comment.
After having played a little, I have to admit that coop will be hard for various ways in the same screen because you move a tons its crazy. But multiplayer via Online will give another set of challenges, balancing boons for coop and the entire game might be hard as hell but I think it might have atleast some potential. On top of that making a good netcode, etc ,etc. Runs can be very long too so they have to find a way to save and play later or something. Ambitious but honestly extremely hard I must say. The game is absolutely fun to play but hella hard. Died 4 times to the Bone boss in the lava area (2nd area) but I went further. The learning curve and the tuning of the progression is perfect! 10/10 for now!
I think its mostly the boon system that would be a problem. If you both share boons its trash because you have probably different playstyles and weapons. If you don't , sharing boons between 2 people is awful for doing builds. I think everything should apply to both players daedlus hammer and chaos etc etc. But boons needs to be individual. Its complicated seriously.
