Help triggering Hades unique dialog at end battle

I've read theres a unique line for Hades at the end battle, if you make it there without Olympian Boons (except for Hermes, his boons doesn't count towards this goal).

First I tried selling all my boons, tried that in 4 runs, taking care to only pick boons that can be sold, to the point that buying a Pom of Power would reimburse the gold because of NO BOONS. That didn't seem to work.

Now I'm trying to not activate any Olympian God except for Hermes, but after many runs, it doesn't seem possible: Even when intro room shows a Daedalus Hammer or Hermes Boon, sooner or later comes a 1 exit room - Olympian God, and I spend all rerolls but it hardly changes to anything other than a God (worked once, but soon came another room with the same issue).

So, is there something I'm missing, or is this kind of run a real range nightmare? If so I may have to try mods to make it, been kinda tiresome trying again and again to have the effort wasted every time.

It looks like you need to unlock the ending first (not the epilogue) for that line to play (when having no boons ofc). So beat Hades at least 9 times (but I assume you've already done that; just making sure).

Some lines, especially the story-related ones, often take priority, so it might take some time to get the line you want. It might be the case that Hades just feels like commenting on something else that happened, so it might've been unlucky for you.

I'd think that you can't have any boons that can be purged, which includes not having Hermes' boons either, as he's an Olympian after all, but I might be wrong with this one. Where did you read about that?

You can take boons during the run as long as you purge them all before encountering Hades.

I got the line having one of unpurgeable boons from Dionysus (Premium Vintage, I think), but I wasn't sure if that was intended, so I reported it and it might've been changed since then.

When it comes to trying and rerolling boons - I would save all your rerolls for Styx, as you have several chances to purge boons before that anyway. Also, I'd pick mini-boss fight whenever possible, as they increases the chances of getting Satyr sack quickly, which helps with avoiding a boon chamber before getting the sack.

If I'm not mistaken, having a Hermes Boon can count as having an Olympian Boon.

I too also tried to avoid coming into contact with an Olympian, using Fated Authority along the way, but some rooms (primarily minibosses) require you to get such a boon. However, although it is technically possible to come out of an underworld region without picking up a boon from it, I have been able to narrow down the boon count to 1 per region. It makes for an interesting challenge — one where the Well of Charon really helps.

Ok, here's the thing: a boon reward will never change into anything but another boon reward. Or a hammer. What you need top do: first level up shattered shackle to have enough dmg to complete a run with no boon. Then use the pact of punishment that forces you to give up one boon per underworld region. Get as many Fated Persuasion rolls as you can. There is a house contractor improvement that can allow you yo get more during the run, each time you find a key. Make sure to sell ALL 3 boons at the selling well whenever it pops up. then use Fated Persuasion to REROLL THE SELLING WELL CHOICES and I'm pretty sure you'll get 3 new choices to sell.

Actually, if you reroll Boon (which is one of golden laurel wreath reward) it can change to:
Boon
Daedalus Hammer
Charon's Obol
Centaur Heart
Pom of Power

If you reroll blue laurel wreath, it can be:
Chthonic Key
Gemstones
Darkness
Nectar

Ok, yeah, so basically there are2 groups, boon related rewards or non boon related rewards.

Apparently it can be done by selling boons, you just have to be "lucky..."
Would be much better if this dialogue had higher priority over all the usual random lines.
