Defeating Meg

I finally defeated Meg and went to the next level where I (accidentally) stepped on lava and died. Now I am back to the start where I have to defeat her again? Am I doing something wrong?

No. That's normal. You may even find Meg at the lodge sometimes.

Yup every time you die you restart from the beginning. There are perma upgrades and unlocks. and each time you die you'll notice some different dialogue and story. Its really fun and each run you'll learn something different.

I thought after awhile it might let me teleport if i got far enough but uhhh... lol. but it does get faster and you blow through stuff maps super fast eventually.
