Favorite/most fun builds?

What's everyone's favorite/most fun builds and why? And by that I mean not necessarily what's "meta" but what's the most fun and satisfying build for you to play? Mine are:

1: Zagreus Shield + Poseidon Boons. The default knockback of the shield + attack/cast boon knockback + extra knockback wall slam damage boon turns the game into easy mode. There's no better feeling than one-shotting a room full of satyrs - this is by far my favorite build. You can also swap out the Zagreus Shield for an Arthur Blade for similar results.

2: Zagreus Adamant Rail + Zeus Boons (bonus points for Daedalus upgrades that boost attack speed + damage). Focusing primarily on offensive Zeus boons makes this build insanely satisfying. Double lightning strikes + extended chain lightning + stacking lightning damage obliterates crowded rooms.

3: Zagreus Fists + Demeter Boons. Even with just Demeter's attack boon this build almost feels broken. 15% dodge chance + immediately stacking 10 chill makes the game a walk in the park with how slow enemies are. Include the 10 chill damage burst boon and watch health bars disappear.

4: Arthur Blade + Aphrodite & Artemis Boons. Immediately choose Aphrodite's attack boon for a huge attack damage boost and then focus on Artemis boons the rest of the run. With Pressure Points, Artemis's increased crit damage, and the Deadalus upgrade that increases damage by the amount of coins you have, you can smack 3K+ by the time you reach Hades. This build is a little harder to pull off but feels like a cannon when done correctly.

5: Zagreus Bow + Artemis Boons. So many crits. Enough said.

Keepsakes: Lambent Plume for more dodge chance or Pierced Butterfly for extra damage if you're feeling confident. If you had a bad run and need the extra death's defiance, Lucky Tooth also works wonders.

My favorite build so far is the Twin Fists with Aspect of Zagreus in addition of the Lambent Plume. The dodge/speed gain is insane the further you get, given you clear the encounters fast enough which most of the time I do. It's also nice to get Hermes to give me an other 10% to 25% dodge chance.

The fists go very well with the Hangover effect from Dionysus on your attack preferably as you can just attack an enemy multiple times very quickly and move on to the next one, letting the dots do the work for you.

My favorite boons to combine however are those of Aphrodite and Artemis, as I think those two have the most powerful effects in the game. Weak to take less damage and Criticals to deal massive numbers. The 'Heart Rend' Duo boon has been so much fun to play. However this was with the Eternal Spear and not the Twin Fists.

A high dodge build is what I am going for to complete my first 32 heat run.

I personally really enjoy stacking either hangover or doom with the bow and aspect of chiron. I can stack the doom effects giving big bunches of damage or just run away from stuff while hangover whittles them down. I also enjoy using this method with the Adamant Rail.

I enjoy using the chaos shield and the gilgamesh fists with poseidon boons to just decimate entire rooms of enemies with wall slams.

Overall, my favorite build is basically just any weapon with Rupture from Poseidon and Jolt from Zeus, as the two pair really well with each other imo.

Agreed. The massive damage increase from Aphrodite combined with Artemis's crit chance is insane. Completely forgot about heart rend as well!

Glad I'm not the only one, Poseidon's boons seem to make any build a bit more fun.

A build that isn't crazy but a lot of fun is Zag's rail (for the extra ammo) and hangover on attack to poison everybody several times.

Big fan of passive damage. Lucifer's Rail Aspect + Triple Bomb from Daedalus + Drunken Flourish, and Lightning Rod.
Just get a boss to walk through all the stuff you dropped on the ground and their health starts melting away.

Zeus' Shield Aspect + Support Fire + Hermes' Swift Flourish (pretty sure this helps)
Get your shield to hover over an enemy and watch as a barrage of arrows fly from your body.

Bow with Aspect of Rama. Zeus Boons- Special, Jolted, Static Discharge, Double Strike. Artemis- Call, and passive that fires arrows for attacking. Daedalus- Special that adds four arrows. Hermes- Special upgrades.

Bind Special to mouse wheel. Hold wheel in, scroll and let go for infinite use.

I was playing this exact build yesterday and it was pretty damn fun. 24 ammo from the aspect, got a hammer upgrade to up that to 30 max ammo with faster & more accurate shooting. Combined with hangover on attack and got explosive bullets halfway through my run. That build was a killer!

--Aspect of Lucifer with Sea Storm (or any dps weapon).

--Maximum Damage-over time-build with hangover, chill decay, and rupture. Maybe even dps doom too if you're lucky.

--Nuclear bow build: explosive shot + Artemis boons + triple shot or twin shot. Note that this is a questionable setup on the Aspect of Rama since your charge-up time makes it almost unusable. But at ~3k damage on fully charged crits, it can be worth it.

--Festive Fog builds, ideally with Scintillating Feast and/or ice wine.

--Both auto-charging god gauge boons with Zeus's Call. Never-ending lightning.

--Zagreus sword + Lambent Plume + extra speed Hermes Boon + rush delivery. You can get over a 50% damage boost from movement speed alone if you get lucky. Slap on the boon that gives you a burst of speed after dashing and you'll delete everything you touch.

This one is kind of bad because it's really hard to reliably get, but Aspect of Charon + ALL THE CRIT BOONS YOU CAN GET. When I played the Charon bow the first time I didn't understand builds very well so I wanted to just stack crit and oh boy, by the end it was insane.

You get crit special , which can crit multiple times and mark enemies around the room, every crit makes your ult gauge rise, i got concentrated + relentless volley (special upgrades on the hamemr), the boon that shoots arrows whenever you attack/special.

What ended up happening was wiping whole rooms with a left click + a few shifts because everything would just get MELTED. Add to that the crit damage to armored enemies and even the big ones were so satisfying to melt. On Hades I think I used artemis full ult 4 times.

It's the best build I'll never try again.

Other fun ones are insta doom (athena + ares) on fists, aspect of achiles lasers go brrr builds, ANY Rama build that has hangover on special, zeus brrrr builds on the railgun, and last but not least Hera with ares cast + demeter boons is really fun as well

I like having Athena on the Attack and Dash for the Fist weapons. You're basically taking next to no damage, and Athena gives a pretty solid damage boost. Combined with Demeter on the special (and, if you're like me, the cast because laser spam), and Artemis' seeking arrow support buff, and stuff dies pretty quickly.

Even better if you can get a Zeus call.

I really love to use a poseidon and zeus Duo build. poseidon knockback on attack, Zeus aid rupture, jolted, the duo to get even more lightning damage, and then even more zeus to make all of the lightning even better, also makes all enemies gain the 2 curses debuff. it just melts everything

Or better yet: Aspect of Nemesis (30% crit chance at max, which is far more than anything else!) + Artemis-themed build. Add in Aphrodite and/or Dionysus to the mix, get one or both of their Duo boons, and you're in crazy crit town! Then I turn on High Confidence (and maybe Ruthless Reflex) for more damage on top of that. Add in the Lambent Plume and some Hermes boons, and I swear I have a (borderline?) speedrunner's build. And that doesn't even factor in what you could do for the casts...
