how the good christ do you get chaos' final boon

I go full runs where I see chaos once
why is progressing simple things so luck based?
I'm winning my runs and not making the progress I want why is this game designed to be so frustrating

It's pretty much just RNG -- but one thing you can do to help is make sure you have the Fated Persuasion mirror talent selected, and use that to reroll Charon's wells and hope that you can purchase the item that forces a Chaos gate to appear ahead.

I tried losing a life at the start of each run, dunno if that actually helped. When hunting a specific boon, you're pretty much at the whims of RNGesus. You can try looking through Charon shops for a Light of Ixion to force a gate to spawn, along with increasing Boon rarity in the usual ways. Overall, the more you focus on getting something specific the more frustrated you'll be. It'll come up eventually.

Which boon are you missing? Some of them have specific requirements.

The one that got me stuck was "Assault". Took me a while to realize that I needed to have "Fiery Presence" active in the Mirror of Night. Once I switched to that, it showed up first try.

If you don't want to look up what you need, try switching up your mirror and see if you have better results. I hope that helps you.

It seems so easy to get, you just need to get any chaos boon then you can get the legendary in the next encounter in the same run but imo it seems like the hardest in the game to get. I was hunting all Chaos' boons as soon as I found Chaos because I just liked Chaos as a character but only ended up finding the legendary one around the 65 hour mark of the game when I was also hunting the legendary god boons. It is pure RNG.

Chaos has a large pool of boons, so even when you're purposefully trying to encounter him multiple times in a run it can take quite a long time for his legendary boon to show up (in around 110 runs I've encountered it twice).

I think the legendary boon would be easier to encounter if you managed to meet Chaos the third time in a run (somewhere in Asphodel?)
