Indicators for fishes/chaos gates/troves etc?
I know I'm a moron, but I keep forgetting to check if a cleared room contains fishing spots, chaos gates, troves etc. Sometimes I buy one and then forget about it when I clear the next room!

I know there are subtle sonic cues for those, but is it too much to ask for a simple icon (or series of, in case of multiple spots) in the lower-right corner, so I can be at ease?

Fishing has an extra lil thing you might not have noticed - there's a lil ding.

The audio cues are not as subtle as you might think they are. Fishing spots are indicated by a rather high pitch

Troves, the Well of Charon, and boon purge interactables all have a sound that I would best describe as either a flame appearing when turning on a gas grill or a large curtain being dragged away. What is most important is that the sound is based on direction. If you do not hear something that is not in the same direction as the doors, and you hear no high pitch ding, you can keep on going.

EDIT: Can't remember the sound of chaos gates, but Erebus gates have a real sound of fire. I do remember these are also directionally based.

Think it's just part of the game that you rush to the next room wanting to do good time only to notice a chaos gate was there in the corner as it's too late.

Also Chaos speaks a line at times to let you know, but I'm not sure if there are specifics for when this happens (like you're far away from the gate as you finish the encounter) or if it's just random.

Y'know, i suggested this AGES ago. Feels like years. To basically (even just as a option) have onscreen markers pointing you at any such feature (gates, fish, troves, wells, etc).

It's kind of suprising that this still hasn't been implemented in any capacity. In particular Asphodel is so friggin' huge you WILL miss a thing or two at times. Especially subtle stuff like Wells. It's one thing to miss out on like 15+ coins if you didn't see some shiny vases, but the rest? They're pretty damn important! And not everyone has exellent hearing to hear the audio cues for those stations. Or they don't know what sound to look out for.

But yeah, speaking of... There's definitely a audio cue for the Wells, they're like the doors once those unlock, but notably louder. The Chaos gate has a particular sound to it (as well as a unique ambience), so that's hard to miss. Same thing for Erebus gates. And it's very hard to miss the fishing cue.

Well, i don't expect any changes now. Though i would've welcomed it if there was a option in the Options menu to visually mark any such stations when not in battle. Like a small bubble with a icon and a arrow pointing at said station.

Yeah, I had said I'm fully aware that there are audio cues. But those, for many reasons, are easy to miss and/or forget. I was thinking little icons in the lower right corner, that appear after the end of the battle. I can't see why they couldn't be at least an option, more so since some people play with low or no sound... or have bad hearing...

It's a tiny modification, trivially easy to implement, which would improve the game noticeably.

I can understand an indicator for fishing spots, but Troves/Chaos Gates? They're super easy to spot without any sound cues or whatever. If you're not certain, you can just make one quick lap around the chamber to see if they're present.

And yet, here I am :)

Told you I was being a moron! Seriously, it's impossible to spend time looking for stuff around the map when, for example, you're trying to beat a time record (or playing under the Pact option that limits the total time available per realm).

Most importantly, it's mighty annoying and unfun. I wanna have fun. This search in every nook and cranny every half a minute or so is pointless and annoying. It's actually my only gripe with the game. Developers! Take heeeeeeeed

If you're going for a time record, you won't spend time claiming optional rewards anyway, so... I don't understand your point here.

That is a matter of a personal preference. Plus, if such little thing is capable of ruining all the fun for you, then I have questions regarding your definition of "fun".

It can get confusing somewhat, one time in second area I've got chaos gate sound but it was nowhere to be found.
While I'm against arrow saying GO HERE IDIOT, I think little indicator below boons (kind of like hermes feather or thanatos butterfly) that there is stuff in the room should be there, like appear for couple of seconds after your battle is over.
Wouldn't hurt much and you actually won't forget.

What the Pug said! If you don't want them, ignore or disable them.

@Neetinator: "actually my only gripe" means "ruining all the fun for me" now? English must have evolved recently...
Also, can I want to beat a time record and still fish?

Yeah an accessibility option or something for it wouldn't be a bad idea.
