Launch game in vulkan?
Is there a way to make the game auto boot in vulkan mode?

bump
I figured there might be something available in command line but i googled a bit myself, i didn't find anything though...
I too would like to know this
Go into your Hades install directory and use the Hades.exe from the x64vk folder.
How about a command line used to launch the game?

Rename the vulkan one and stick it where the directx one is.

Thank you for the suggestion

I tried it and unfortunately it didn't work

I made a shortcut of the Vulkan executable on my Desktop and that did help but the Steam overlay didn't launch so I wasn't able to get a screenshot of me stealing all of Thanatos' kills :(
Putting the Vulkan executable on your desktop means you're not running it through Steam, unfortunately.

There is potentially a way to make it auto boot to one, but I haven't tested it with Hades specifically, and it's not very straightforward iirc
I haven't tried myself, don't know if this works, but what you could do is:

Right click on the game in library
Properties
General tab > set launch option
type "-vulkan"

Nope, sorry. And "/vulkan" doesn't work either

Edit: That being said, I'll ask the devs later today and update if they have a solution in mind
Aw, sorry to hear. I tried.

Noticed that too. Additionally, Steam achievements are not captured.

Seems like the devs missed out implementing Steam's modules (.DLLs) upon compiling Vulcan version.
Not at all, actually. If you pick Vulkan through Steam, it should work fine. But running Steam games from outside of Steam is often a bit flaky
Heyo! As one of the devs recently mentioned in the Tech Support board, there are no launch options to prioritize one render mode over another
Bump. I also want this.
Hell, I'd say they should ditch direct x for vulkan considering how buttery smooth game has become.
