This. I've also been doing some experimenting, and it can take less than 90-100 runs to fulfill all the prophecies on the Fated List (likely more if this is your first playthrough and/or if you're unlucky). After that, it's primarily just getting the remaining bounties (min. 120 runs), leftover stuff from the House Contractor, and the Resources Director, which, unless you mod the game, will take a ridiculously long time to complete.
Generally most people should be able to do all story-related activities and the prophecy lists within 100 runs. After that it's buying everything for the house, possibly maxing a final mirror item or two, maxing infernal arms, earning badges, and getting higher heat clears.
