What is your most op build that you got yet?
When i had this build Tartarus and Asphodel were total TORTURE i thought i had the worst RNG imaginable, but it somehow turned into a i literally nuked the final boss in a few hits.

I used the normal railgun.

First boon i got Divine Strike Athena making my attacks reflect.

Then eventually i got Cluster bombs enchancement that made my special bomb attack get -30% damage but go into 5 bombs.

I also got Curse of pain form ares to my special and finally Impending doom to boost all my doom effect damage.

Now this was already broken, i did 500 damage per doom proc and because of cluster bomb i could pretty much spread it across the entire map hardly aiming.

Now what totally broke this build to a whole new level of NUKING the final boss was getting the Athena and Ares duo ability Merciful end that makes Reflect abilities instantly proc doom.

Well guess what cluster bombs do not fall down instantly at the same time there is a tiny interval, which meant.

I shoot clusterbombs, each apply doom for 500 damage. The railguns attack has Divine strike on it, and with its fast attack speed it can literally proc all 5 bombs doom damage as they land.

The final boss fight was literally i get up close to him shoot all 5 bombs on top of us, then rail gun him to proc all 5 doom stacks. Literal carnage.

I've had my fair share of both good and bad RNG, and among the former, there were some truly broken builds that turned out pretty OP - but at some point, you don't really feel it anymore because, as you progress through the endgame, the rooms get harder and harder and sometimes you don't even notice how good your build is because the rooms haven gotten equally tougher.

Well for my build thats just it... the end felt so easy. The rat rooms usually are a slog of way to tanky enemies to beat down. This build i had straight up 1 shot everything with the special.

Weapon: Aegis Shield (Aspect of Chaos)

"Curse of Agony" on my main attack.
"Heartbreak Flourish" on Special.
Dash and Call are both from Athena.

Got "Dashing Wallop" halfway through (increases Dash-Strike damage by 50% and its range) and "Merciful End" (which is a duo boon from Athena and Ares) near the end.

Dash like crazy and deal tons of damage every half second. Honestly, Hades stood absolutely no chance against a build that ridiculous.

What do you guys define "op" by? Because if I can clear the run on, for example, heat 16/17, and at the end, I still got all my death defiances up and I am at above 50% life, that is fine in my book.

I think it's OP if Hades spends most of the fight in his invulnerability phases rather than actually trying to attack.

Most ridiculous thing for me is tossup between some Lucifer Rail triple bombs, insane # of casts with Trippy Shot buffed to all hell, or some Xcal all-the-possible-defense-boons.

Well, you can't really go wrong with Merciful End. IMO one of the best boons in the game!
I love seeing them big chunk of numbers, so i would say:
- Maxed out Hestia rail with artemis attack and dash
- Beowulf charged flight + aphro special
- Guan yu + artemis special (though not as good as it used to be..)

That actually perfectly describes my final fight with hades.

My favorite powerful build, which is really consistent due to common boons and no duo dependencies, is Aspect of Hestia railgun with mainly Artemis and Ares.

Offense:
* Artemis: Deadly Strike, Deadly Flourish, Hunter's Mark, Pressure Points, Clean Kill
* Ares: Battle Rage, Urge to Kill
* Chaos: Assault (+% damage to undamaged enemies), Strike (attack), Flourish (special)
* Daedalus: Explosive Fire, Triple Bomb, Rocket Bomb, Targeting System

Defense:
* Athena: Divine Dash, Holy Shield, Bronze Skin, Sure Footing
* Hermes: Greater Haste, Greater Evasion, Greatest Reflex

I get whatever combination of the above that I can manage to find, with a focus on Artemis first, and grabbing hammer and chaos whenever I can. The result is an extremely strong attack/special than can both crit for 2k+ aoe damage with the right setup. Your Artemis crits chain through Hunter's Mark, and each first hit gets a large boost from Battle Rage and chaos boon if you have it, so you basically run around 1-shotting everything in sight.
