Why no more titan blood ?
So , after I am able to reveal aspect, I spent all my 5 titan bloods for upgrading shield, but now everytime I encounter Meg or his sisters, they NEVER drop Titan Blood anymore, always that purple thingies, I think it's been 3 times in a row now.

Is it based on luck ? 3 times in a row is a very bad luck if it is, that's quite a long time spent and a waste. Or is there something I do not know about ?

beat them with a new weapon or a new heat level, they only drop blood the first time.

If new weapon, then max is the gun, I think I have beaten her once using it.

What is NEW HEAT LEVEL ??? The game does not give any info about that, I just wasted maybe 2 hours trying to get Titan Blood and only got purples

Finish a run then you'll find out more about it.

Until you complete one run, you're limited to just one blood from the sisters each weapon. Or prophecies/trades.

But really, upgrading the weapons isn't that pivotal, your boons will more than make up for what you get from upgrading.

I really have no clue about it.

What you mean by Complete one run ? you mean beat Hydra too ? and the floors after Hydra ? Elysium iirc. Coz I'm still stuck there

That's exactly what I also think, like this shield, upgrading the Zag aspect only gives 3dmg, then 6dmg, 9 dmg, but I get dmg in percentage from boons.

You can only get bounty rewards from bosses once per heat level, per weapon. heat comes into play once you beat the final boss for the first time, then you can start adding conditions to your runs. your initial run working up to your first win is considered 0 heat
Darth Bokeh Sep 20, 2020 @ 6:18pm
For each weapon, the first time you beat a boss, you get some rare currency:

Titan Blood (TB) for the first and last bosses
A diamond for the second
Ambrosia for the third

TB is used for unlocking and leveling up weapons. Diamonds are used for the contractor, and ambrosia is used to build relationships (and level some items later).

After you beat each boss for the first time with each weapon, you get a common currency reward.

Since there are 6 weapons, when you beat all the bosses with all 6 weapons, you'll end up with 12 TB, 6 diamonds and 6 ambrosia. There's also a 10 TB reward in the fated list for beating all bosses with all weapons the first time, so you actually get 22 TB for the first time.

After that, each time you increase heat by 1 for a weapon, you can beat the bosses with that weapon for the rare currency rewards again, so you can get another 12 TB, 6 diamonds and ambrosia if you beat all bosses with all weapons on heat 1, and so on for heat 2 up to heat 20.

Edit:
Also try to keep 15 keys in reserve - sometimes the broker will sell 1 TB for 15 keys.

Yup. You'll know when a run is complete. It'll give you options for more Blood after that.

Early on the options are limited, but as said, it doesn't matter too much. You can clear the game just fine with an unupgraded weapon.

You can also get "unlimited" Blood and Diamonds without rising "heat" by getting to the end part of a run: Charon will always sell one of those on the final shop. And you get plenty of coins in the final area, so you should always aim to get that extra!

The in-game resources can help you too. You can trade with the broker in the lounge, it's expensive but it's made so that you can always get more rare resources.

10 gems > 1 key
5 keys > 1 Nectar
10 Nectar > 1 diamond
2 diamond > 1 Ambrosia
1 Ambrosia > 1 Titan Blood
Scilin Sep 20, 2020 @ 9:36pm
I advise agaisnt trading up as your going to want to hold onto those resources for other things

As for heat levels here's how it works

Each weapon gets a bounty for clearing a boss on each run the default is heat zero if you beat the game you get in total 1 diamond 1 ambrosia 2 titans blood
This can be done per weapon

Once you beat the game you unlock heat each time you clear a difficulty with heat on it gives bounties again and each heat level is linked to a specific weapon so clear heat 1 with spear get all bounties for heat 1 spear, if you clear a higher heat level itll give you credit for your current heat level that bounty is set at.

So upgrading weapon is limited then, better pick fav weapon, and fav aspect first, or does the game offer enough blood to upgrade all ?

Is there anyway to reset though ? I didnt understand how aspect works at first, but I do now, I shld probably focus on one first but I upgraded 3 , I thought all active at once, but turns out can only use one aspect.

You can fully upgrade every weapon if you earn enough blood. It's just over 300 for every weapon aspect, so you only need to run through every weapon 26 times, not counting any extra blood you earn through other means.

There's no reset option. Spent blood is spent. Invest carefully.

I see, losing 5 is not much then, since it needs THAT MUCH to upgrade fully. >_< , just a drop in the ocean, but still very disappointing.

Anyway, seems like ppl agree that shield is the easier weapon, which aspect is best for it ?

You can only get TB up to 20 heat though, so can get a total of 252 through runs and another 29 through the Fated List.

so if I one weapon needs 300 , and the game only offers 252, then maybe we need respec for aspects. Even if it's grindy is ok, like 10 diamonds for example.
