Any Advice For Getting Chaos' 'Defiance' boon?

It is the only one I am missing and it has been 80+ runs. Please help me...

It's random, but you might have a better shot if you land the "increased rarity" boon first.

You'll probably need to go to 3 chaos holes in one run to get it, just like the boon legendaries

You can stack Charon shrine increased boon rarity as well as the cosmic egg keepsake. The increased boon rarity increases minimum rarity that shows up by 1.

Chaos' Defiance boon probably requires you to have the "Death Defiance" passive from the Mirror of Darkness and to have died once before you go visit Chaos. If you haven't died once, then there is no "empty" Death Defiance slots for the Defiance boon to fill.

Boon rarity doesn't refer to the type of boon itself, but what "grade" a given boon is. So increasing boon rarity won't help Death Defiance show up.

the boon adds a slot. i saw it once after 80hrs of gameplay. u don't need to die for that. it's just rare.

I did already have 2 other chaos boons before the one time I got it as well.

Also can confirm it gives a new slot.

Yep, with this and Skelly's tooth you can get 5(!) Defiance, which makes high heat runs a lot easier.
