Heracles is hot, and that's it?

He is useless in the game, encountering him does literally nothing. We don't get his money if we win, neither an extra something? Anything! He could be removed completely and it would make no difference at all. The buff woman (nemesis) is by far a better rival than him.

well you earn money from every kill in his rooms which you don't do normally i think, and he also just helps you clear a room, so imo he's just there to help make the surface more manageable since it's tougher than underworld

idk this is just too basic
besides he only appears in the first part of the upperworld wich is the easier one

Actually, although less common, he can appear in any part of the surface.

I've never seen him in the other places (mainly Rift because that's where I got to go the most besides Efira).
Nemesis is still a better-fitting rival than him; he just looks like one of those characters who will be scrapped later.

His rooms are actually much harder than normal rooms, since there's a ton of extra waves. But he does pause the timer for the whole room, so he's still good to see. But yeah, the competition element is very underplayed with how little gold is at stake per kill.

Athena has a dialogue in which she asks Melinoë to keep an eye on Heracles, but admits that she doesn't have any specific reason to distrust him yet. Perhaps there will be at some point. *shrug*

I think Athena says that out of prejudice because he's half mortal. The game is clearly pointing towards a narrative like Gods x Mortals.
