Hades II

Fields of Mourning and Engraved Pin
> Dont know if it is supposed to be that way but the "Engraved Pin" does seem to count ALL the enemies on the map as "foes you need to kill". Which means it basically impossible. Should be encounter for encounter.

> And I still think that the Fields are breaking the flow of the game and are just not fun the way they are right now. I know you introduced the golden tree to make navigating quicker. But that seems to be a fix for a problem that should not exist in the first place. And even with the tree, I find myself just running around aimlessly for way longer that I would like, because I want to find everything on the map.
The fields are the main reason why I dont want to play the underworld with "Vow of Desperation", because I am just losing too much time trying to find everything.

Hope that helps, thank you guys for all the hard work!

The way that Engraved Pin works in the Fields is the same as usual if you are in an encounter. You need to kill all the enemies from the encounter to prevent losing a death defiance, meaning anything other than the three types of yellow shades and Bawlders.

If you are not in an encounter, then you need to either exit the room (if the doors are unlocked) or start and finish an encounter (likely impossible).

Each room has a golden path on the ground that leads to the golden bough. There is exactly one fields room in particular that is really awful (it's like double the usual size and has the bough way, way off to the left for some reason), but other than that it's pretty easy to not lose much time in the fields, as long as you take the miniboss and Echo.
