heres a workaround for you: in a roguelike or roguelike: use your brain before picking stuff up. things you picked up screwing you is part of what roguelike games are all about. make good decisions and have some good luck?- awesome build. bad decisions or bad luck? your build is gonna suck, or youre gonna selfkill bc you didnt think about consequences.
What does need to be adjusted is to be able to see what floor you're in. Unless I'm mistaken, Hades 2 doesn't indicate it for some reason.
Yea this would be helpful. You can generally get the vibe that your close to boss but since I am not counting how many rooms it takes it kind of hard to tell exactly. Which normally is fine but I a lot times still a bit surprised when I get to room right before the boss. Thankfully that room is not a fight but it’s still like welp hope what is got it’s enough kind of vibe. If there was easier way to keep track of distance without telling you exactly if your there that would help with planning out some things a bit better like if should go for a armor for boss instead of like trying to get a boon idk
Yeah. Hades 1, you'd know which rooms were the boss fight so you know when you're getting close. But here, I'm obviously not counting. I've no idea if the biomes are comparable size or not either lol.
