Nemesis sucks all the fun out whenever she appears.

She's got a similar gimmick as Thanatos...

Except Thanatos had a noticeable delay on his attacks, giving you time to actually respond to them, instead of just one-shotting everything near him.

And Thanatos didn't punish you for losing, so his showing up was always upside.

And Thanatos didn't lock you out of paths or shop purchases if you didn't react immediately or spam pause to give you time to think.

And Thanatos wasn't an enormous ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥ that I would refuse to interact with in any way as soon as I got the slightest whiff of his awful personality.

Please rework Nemesis into something less awful, she makes me not want to play with how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ she is.

Nemesis isn't actually so bad... wait until you meet Heracles; not only does the fight work the same as Nemesis but his smashes also knock YOU back and are suited well to knock you into the barrelfires and thusly suck up a ton of HP/armor even though he's "helping" you xD

I remember Thanatos was tough for me until way later. So I don't know really know how fairly it's being scaled

The games more punishing early on in general, but it is a rouge like so yeah that happens. I have a feeling things change over time and as you progress the story. I've had 3 unique different interactions with Nemesis during runs that don't always require you to try and out kill her.

Nah, this is normal.

It's also 100% expected that she would be annoying. Otherwise, she wouldn't be Nemesis! Eris is way worse if you ask me.

Last time I met her, she took Echo's place and she gave me a healing item when I HAD FULL HEALTH ALREADY!!

I've described her as Thanatos without any of the appeal. She just shows up, acts like she's better than you, then cheats at the competition that Thanatos at least had the balls to be fair about -- and then she steals a boon.

Why? Seriously, she straight up ruins the momentum.
