Are you familiar with consept of "sequel"?
Exactly this. It seems people forget that both Hades games were based heavily in what's in the history books: both Zagreus and Melinoe were children of Hades and Persephone, and seeing as there are no more, I can't see a Hades 3 making sense in the least.
That said, there's still plenty more in Ancient Greek myth should Supergiant ever be interested in exploring more while honoring the history of the mythology. It's what drew me to Hades and what kept me for Hades 2, but the further a game strays from its roots, the less interested I am in it (this is part of why I don't fully gravitate to fantasy games — they're not often grounded enough, which means that Supergiant has been doing something special).
